I put it to you that Evan Williams is the best plain ole bourbon out there!
No, its not a Bakers or a Blantons, or any of the other small batch single barrel stuff.  Its just good bourbon. Better than its price and worthy of not only making a damn good mixed drink but up neat or rocks as well.

Lets hear it!

Buffalo Trace for me.
Evan Williams is okay if you let it rest for about 20 minutes but who has time for that

Yep.  Simple, a bit of sweetness, no harshness...a nice little every-day bourbon.

For everyday, Evan Williams.

But after a really nice bourbon for a week or so, the first few sips reveal it to be the rotgut it really is.

Evan Williams is garbage, to me.

Buffalo Trace, or Corner Creek Reserve are my daily bourbons.

I like their black label proof, but I need to go to BevMo and get some 100 proof bottled in bond and try it.

I've never had regular Evan Williams.  However, Evan Williams Single Barrel is excellent.

Weller reigns supreme over them all.

Evan Williams Bottled in Bond (white label) is possibly the best deal going today.   I wish the single barrel were 100 proof.

Larceny is my go-to these days. Costs me $28, but that's only a buck more than Buffalo Trace which is also good.

If you say you drink 10 yr old Pappy daily I wanna call bullshit. I'm not going to but I think you might embellish slightly. Then again you might be the epitome of the Arfcom dream.  10" cock, more money than the Catholic Church, and a super model wife.

I'm not much of a liquor drinker, but a friend bought me a huge bottle of Evan Williams (black label?  whatever, looked like a quantity over quality type selection) that I've been slowly working on.  A splash or five on the rocks does the trick just fine for me.  Bulleit for special occasions.

Crowder, you're killing me... Just tried to order the Traverse City from our damn ABC stores a few days back... The folks at the store looked through their little book and said they couldn't order it, then suggested I have a friend smuggle it through the mail.  My best chance is to get a couple bottles when I make it home in a couple months.
