I'm tired of wiping case lube off with a cloth.

Is a vibratory tumbler with corn cob media a good option?

I've done that before... still leaves case lube behind, tho.  Unless I didn't tumble it long enough.  I forget how long I tumbled it for, maybe an hour or two.

I use the Lee case lube, btw.

Clean lube off after sizing cases but before dropping powder/seating bullet.

Though you can tumble loaded ammo.  I've done it with .303 and .30-06 with no ill affects.

I'd feel pretty confident with your chances right now. People will start dropping as we get closer to the date. I'm pretty sure over 20 people dropped last year. If it's close, I'd still go. You'll probably get to run. Even if you don't get prizes, you'll still have a hell of a time and get vet status.

If you run you get status.

Status brings privilege.

But only the winner goes unchecked

No. You have to run to get vet status, but there is usually time on Saturday to run a few extras. I think they ran something like 72 people at CW4 and 65 at CWE2. There would have been time to run more, but there wasn't anyone else to run. If they do run more than 75, the extras get vet status but no prizes.

This is why a growing interest in the night run is good, it frees up day run slots, and flaunts privilege

Ruptured underground; found its way topside.
Fixed it a year ago.

I did that (when it was my turn) with all 3 of my kids.
I'd get up, feed them and during the rocking/burping thing... zzzzzzzzz.

Morning would find me laid back in the recliner with kiddo asleep on my chest.
