As a whole, I agree with XCR and the rest. Just saying that ARF has shown a complete lack of decorum a lot of times, especially with the guilty/not guilty threads and the like. Either the respectful and classy should apply to all, or not at all.

I'll say this for those of you who know me and what happened to me and my then-newly-married bride of seven months. I see alot of her in Taya Kyle and vice versa. Women like her and Taya have watched their husbands leave home, and come back very different men (I am NOT comparing myself to Chris, just the PTSD thing). Both have received terrible news about their husbands and handled it the way a LADY would handle her business.
In my wife's case, I didn't die - although my heart stopped twice. I made it back from that shithole over there and I never, ever want to leave her again. I didn't know Chris, but it hurt me that he didn't get that opportunity. I would have traded places with him if I could. Knowing that my wife was waiting there for me to come back was all the motivation I needed to not just give up and die - although the pain made me truly want to. After I was released from the hospital months later, I had a new fear - my new wife now had an unemployed, unemployable and damn near invalid husband to take care of along with the three children from our previous marriages. Not fucking once did she falter, and I suspect Taya Kyle won't either. |
