Well?
Sometimes but there's usually always a gun in one of the rooms |
No. Unless cutting the yard or outside doing yard work. As far as sitting around watching tv, web surfing. Nope
Not at home, but I always have a weapon within arm's reach, regardless of what part of the house I ma in.

Yep. No one is breaking in unless they can bust down a metal framed fire door. So I think I have a couple seconds to grab a handy firearm. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

90% of the time if I'm outside. Glock gets nasty when weed eating.
Occasionally.
I always do when I take the dag out for a walk in the woods, and then usually just leave it on for the rest of the day. |

Good question. No I don't always have a weapon on me, but I have at least 5-6 loaded and secured around the house. That could change in the near future. You have to assess the threat level and arm accordingly

I carry everywhere all the time. The whole reason I have a micro single stack 9 is so that I can put it on (like putting a wallet in your pocket) and forget about it. It helps that there are very, very few "prohibited" places where I live.
Live 3.5 miles inside a guarded gate , 25 miles from town. I think it would be a little paranoid since no one has ever been the victim of a violent crime in my community. Ever. More likely to need a gun for a coyote in the yard.

Majority of the time I just keep my gun on. If it's an off day, and I have no reason to leave the house, I rarely gear up like I do every other day. Throw my PF9 or a j-frame in the pocket of my gym shorts when I go outside with the dogs.
When I lived in Lansing, MI - yes.
Now, there are guns locate around the home. |
Have you ever read any "home invasion murders" news articles? Brutal, horrific shit.
Not happening in my home. It's not something I walk around thinking about, in fact I can't remember the last time it crossed my mind. Just like I buckle my seatbelt without thinking OMG I could have a serious accident. I simply carry everywhere even at home. It's a potential problem taken care of before it ever happens. |
Of course. I also wear a full vest with plates, a gas mask and a helmet at all times - even when I sleep.
Gotta be prepared for anything. Better safe than sorry!! |

Not all the time. But there is always a loaded gun within reach wherever I am in the house. If I go outside I will throw the J-Frame in my pocket.

Its always on my hip, in a duckbill holster around the house. If i take it off, it goes on the coffee/end table next to me. Never out of arms reach. Some 83 yr old lady got beaten with a baseball bat down the street in a home invasion. All for some money in her purse. Not messing around anymore.
Yes. Plenty more around if I need them. If I don't I get that feeling kind of like I forgot my wallet.
Both.
There's a .357 magnum revolver sitting behind me in a biometric safe and a .38 on my hip ... just like normal. Unlike normal there's an AR-15 with a 30 round magazine sitting in the corner. |
I don't strap it on just to sit around the house, but I don't get home and immediately take it off, either.

even in the bath with a water proof holster NO! View Quote Eh, I'll usually put one on my sink. Plenty of room. Otherwise, if I'm caught by surprised in the 5 minutes I'm in the shower it's a quick grab due to bathroom/bedroom layout. Besides, a naked foe is probably more intimidating. |
