I have an HK94 clone from Special Weapons ...most folks would say that's a pretty crappy pedigree...But when I got it at auction for $600 it was advertised as a Jayson Cotter build...and then I SBRd it .....shoots pretty damn good if you ask me

I got some Italian .25 my "grandfather" (dad's step-dad) gave me. He demanded I give it back to him when he found out us kids were getting Dad's house, haven't made the three hour drive to return it yet.

As far as defectives go, that honor probably goes to my S&W 1911PD. It's been back to the factory multiple times for failures to fire (firing pin safety), failures to feed, and the plunger tube flying off the frame while I was shooting it.

Norinco copy of a Browning ATD.  Actually runs like a champ and doesn't look awful, but I'd say that's my bottom bitch.

91/30 that had such a badly out of round chamber it would egg steel cases to the point you'd have to kick the bolt HARD to open it.

Going with the 91/30 here as well.

And another vote for the 91/30

My Mosin Nagant 91/30 and M44 are actually quite nice. It's hard to miss clays on the berm at 100 yards with either one and the M44 has an incredibly nice trigger.
My dog is probably my Colt Defender because I was so pissed at all the failures to extract it had before I read up on the internet and fixed the problem. The MIM extractor it had in it was unfinished and un-fit. I bought a tool steel replacement and fit it and now it's 100% through several hundred rounds. This would take it off the dog list but the barrel looks like shit because they botched the machining for the bull barrel. Shoots great now but it hurts my mind to know how much 'care' they took to put it together and it looks like shit with the slide locked back.

Worse I ever had was a ducktown derringer. Often failed to fire, never failed to make me bleed when it did.  Long gone.

Walther p22. It's a pos. I only keep it so I can let people shoot it, when they think they want to buy one.
I've had a few offers to buy it, but its the first handgun I ever bought so it has sentimental value.
Also on my list is a mosin. Bought it for $80 so I don't feel as bad about it.

I don't have any "bad guns" but the carries looking rifle I have is an Inland M1 carbine built in 1944 that looks like it was used in 1944, and 1950-1953, and maybe a little in the 60s and 70s.

NEF Pardner that was my brother's gun.  It's been sprayed and abused, probably before he got it, but it goes bang every dang time and it kinda fun to shoot.  I call it the "snake charmer".

I have an A80 in .38 Super, actually one of my favorite handguns. The only things I don't like are the heel mag release, and the fact that those mags are unobtanium.

I don't have any "bad" guns; however, my in-law's house is full of Byco's, Raven's, and other "Saturday Night Specials"/POS guns.  When my wife was working with her parents to divide up the collection, I used my knowledge of firearms and  for the safety of my children made sure that they didn't end up with any of them.

RPB/PS Doublestamp M10/9mm-- should be a $350 gun.

I have two (!) of them.

(I pretty much have two of every gun I own at least one of....except for the J22 )

Worst production gun I have ever bought was a Sig Mosquito. What a fucking POS. Ditched it right quick.

However the worst gun I own is this Italian made abortion. Pot metal POS. It is a jammomatic and rarely fires which one would think would be unpossible since it is a derringer.

Given to me by a female friend since it scared her when I sold her a functioning Ruger .380. I don't even know what brand it is.

I don't understand the hate for Mosin 91/30's. I fucking love mine. Other than being long enough to bayonet a moose on the other side of a river, it's accurate and 100% reliable, not to mention fun and inexpensive to shoot.

I don't own any crap guns now (imo) but the worst gun I ever owned was a Daewoo 9mm pistol. Dear god, what a hunk of shit. Someone eventually stole it from me - I wanted to send them a thank you card.

Toss-up between my '43 Izhevsk MN 91/30 and my Yugoslavian M57 Tokarev.

Both are reliable as Hell and pretty accurate, so I guess I'm not doing too bad...

What is wrong with you?  Why are you still spending money on this stuff?

Put that whole mess into a trash can and get yourself a serious rifle.

I guess my worst is a Mini-14.

It's not actually that bad, maybe it's a 5 or 6 MOA rifle.  It's about on par accuracy-wise with my Mosins.  And it has never failed to cycle, even with cheap Dremel-modded no-name mags.

I mean, my *worst* gun is my great-grandfather's service pistol, which is a S&W hand ejector (I think second model, but I don't know), in 32 S&W short.

Even if I could get ammo for it, I wouldn't want to try to shoot it.  That sucker is wore out.  Several lifetimes of holster wear on it, carried in Florida so there's absolutely no finish left, and it's just been shot to death.  Probably tens of thousands of rounds through this thing.  It's just done for.

And it's not worth anything.  Not to anyone outside of the family, at least, though I'd never sell it regardless.

I have a single-shot break-action Iver Johnson 12ga. It has an extractor, not an ejector. However, it releases the barrel at the perfect time under recoil that the pressures remaining in the chamber blow the shell into the shooter's forehead. I only shot it a few times before deciding to put it away forever so it can't blow anyone up.

I have some family heirlooms that are pretty crappy.  An ancient 20 ga single shot that my grandfather's step-dad traded a sack of flour for, complete with electrical tape holding the forend on.  Some kind of weird old 22 short revolver.  I generally don't buy anything from the bottom of the barrel.  The worst I've bought was a Winchester Model 100 in 308 with a cracked stock (repaired and refinished) that won't extract.  The extractor looks fine, and the chamber is clean...so I'm not sure what's wrong with it.
