Alright hive, I'm considering getting another pup. My last was an oversized cocker spaniel but my old man backed over him a lil over a year ago I still miss my buddy but would like another.

So what do yall suggest? By the time I get the little fella, I'll be living off campus in Lubbock so a large breed probably wouldn't be the best choice...  (not much space) plus above all, he's gotta be a chick magnet

I was talking about it with the hopeful future lady-friend and when I mentioned a corgie, she absolutely became the girliest I've ever seen her lol

So would a corgie be a decent choice?  Or is that not manly enough and cause the man card to be revoked?

Both apparently quite tolerable breeds too.

A pembroke welsh corgi would be a great choice.

Well...from what I've seen?

As long as the dog isn't covered in blood and dragging entrails down the street, you're good to go.

Depends on your style.

What'syour game look like?  The dog should compliment that.

Whatever the breed, have it trained impeccably unless it's a goofy breed.

Decide if you want a chick that likes being licked and train the pooch accordingly.  Itll either be endearing or gross depending on her.

That will tell you a lot about how she operates.

Women who like dogs will find any dog endearing if it doesn't drool on them or try to hump them.

Thinking again, OP should take up training service dogs so he can always have a puppy.  Puppies trump adults as pussy magnets.

The only bigger magnet is ahappy laughing baby.

Borrow one and try it out.  It works.

I don't get the "small dogs = lady magnet" theory.

My GSD and Malamute get more attention than any of the little bitch dogs from ladies at the dog park.

Hell, I once told my wife that my plan if she leaves me is to buy a Malamute puppy and walk it in front of a nursing school.

There's also the "quality over quantity" theory.

A big dog might attract a higher quality of woman than some effeminate little shithound.

If you just want something to help you score, get a yippy yappy mindless little thing.

If you want to meet actual women, with brains and possibly some moral substance get a useful dag.

Edit: to answer original question... Corgies are borderline.  Useful, like a short heeler.  However, does also draw in the retard screeching gurls.  Personally, I would be suspect of a man that had a corgi.  Current BF got me with Heeler and Border Collie.

Any non-ratdog breed pretty much. You dont want any woman that likes those little ratdog style yippy shits.

Unless your family is local, I would say wait.  This way you don't have to mess with what are you going to do with the dog if you have a chance to travel or move somewhere that isn't dog friendly for a job.
