Cheap Trick.
Other the Surrender, I cannot stand them. Most overrated: The Beatles. A boy band that went hippie. Their music doesn't suck, it just isn't all that. Ones I wish death upon: Nelson White Lion IMO, they were the straw(s) that broke the 80's hard rock/heavy metal's back.
ETA: I would love to know how many posters are musicians. I am not, as such I love music for how it sounds, the story it tells or how it makes me feel. Musicians seem to view music a lot differently then us non musician "civilians" and as such tend to strongly dislike simple, straightforward music that many like, just due to the lack of musical complexity. Great example of Musician's music.. Rush. |

I don't listen much to the shred wankers like Vai and I don't listen to much prog rock, at least not very often. I can appreciate difficult music but it isn't something I seek out. It has to make a connection to me emotionally... it isn't enough to play in 15/16 time and incorporate the Fibonacci sequence. |
