Whey protein w/ milk post workout.

I am dinking of includng multivitamins in my diet, and maybe cod liver oil too for the vit D.

I sit ok to crush multivitamins into a powder? i heard that swallowing whole tablets dont get absorbed easily into your sysytem and that 50% gets wasted.

I buy one of everything at the local GNC. I get one of each pill and throw them at the wall. Whatever 12 pills bounce the farthest are what I take.

Note: this method may or may not be scientific.

Multivitamins have pretty much been proven useless, sorry to burst your bubble. Water soluble vitamins maybe, but taking a pill and hoping to absorb much E or K or even D is fairly futile. Eating a diet rich in good meat and veggies with a spatter of fruit is way better. Live nutrients FTW.  I am not a health nut, just a science guy.

Been using Isagenix the last couple weeks because I finally got fed up with being a fat ass. So for now, just their shitty tasting shakes.

But back when I powerlifter competitively and played football on a semi pro/adult team I used lots. Whey protein, Casein protein shortly before bed, creatine and I can't remember what else. I was a gym rat at one time and read Arnolds Encyclopedia of Bodybuilding cover to cover at 14 yrs old. Before I could afford weight gainers or protein Id use whole milk, raw eggs and honey. Went from 5'10" and 135 my freshman year to 6' 205 before my sophomore season started.

Its surprising what supplements can do for you if you take the right ones. There were some that you felt a difference instantly.

ETA: Only ever used legal supplements by the way. Although the other alternatives were tempting and many friends used since I grew up not many hours from the Mexico border of pharmaceutical euphoria.

Calcium, Magnesium, vitamin D and a men's multivitamin.
I should also be taking Salmon oil, Glucosamine, and a few others, but I'm lazy.

It depends on your age, your diet, and your work and exercise habits.

Multivitamin, COQ10, 4000 IU of D (don't get enough sun anymore) folic acid, 2000 mgs of C. (Doc told me to do it 2 weeks before surgery to minimize scarring, and it worked so I kept taking it since I'm old & it increases collagen production & I heal like I did in my 20s again.)

Protein drinks so I don't get fat because I'm old as well.

Optimum Amino Energy, before or when ever.

Gaspari MyoFusion for post protein. Optimum Casin later on.

I take Vitamin A, if you supplement Protein and don't up your Vitamin A, you are wasting it...either pills or yams.

I take CLA and Fish Oil's.

Be careful on what brands you go with..the chain store brands of protein..the big bag's at warehouse store...rat shit and all sorts of nasty stuff has been found in their process by some of the manufactures.

Gotta eat clean as well
