Right on man you will have this summer program cranked out in no time and back home working by winter. I looked at that page and I saw the california school, I have been to that school Lassen community collage before, well near the school at the REI at least... That counts. That is a beautiful area in Northern CA. Good for you, I work with wood, but I would love to make the jump over to metal work. Metal is so... Metal. Hehe |

Hehe View Quote Yeah, I figured it's the best compromise for someone who can't afford the time or money to take two years away from working to come out here (or somewhere else) to do a full associates in gunsmithing. A good portion of the stuff covered in the associates is stuff I've already done, and since there's not any certifying organization for gunsmiths or anything, it's not like I'm necessarily losing anything by having a certificate instead of the full degree. It's nice being able to cherrypick the classes for what you want or need. Metal's definitely very different from wood, that's for sure. I have a little bit of background in woodworking, and pretty much nothing translates |

I have got my nephew coming to visit for a couple of weeks, him and my daughter are like brother and sister. I need to find 22lr ammo bad now. I think a couple of overnight camping trips, some shooting, pool fun, bike riding and video games is in my future. Not a bad plan for a couple of 9 year olds.

Morning all, I spoke to Mauser this morning, he's back in the hospital after taking a couple falls due to his BP tanking, making hI'm pass out. He's banged up, but in good spirits, and he sounded really good.
Probably too soon to crack a joke, but last night when I said princess was sleeping, I wasnt WRONG per se. I'm gonna call him later and I'll update yall, but he's hoping to get out today. Of course, prayers for him healing quick are greatly appreciated. |

I just got off the phone with mauser. Orthostatic hypotension. Basically low blood pressure that is bad enough that when he stands up he passes out. He is getting fluids and they are working him up they are leaning toward a medication change, i will get an update after they do rounds, probobly midday.
He is good spirits actually, he said that he was able to sleep really good at last night and we know how that helps and that it was an issue. He cracked some jokes so thats good. Unfortunatly he is beat up from taking a few headers. Ribs and shoulder bruised thats not fun. He said he felt better after some memorable bar fights. |

Not as long as you would think. For Imr3031 my load is around 23 grains i cant remember off hand. So 7000 grains a pound ÷ 23 grains will give me 306 rounds per pound Thats about 3 or 4 outings if im by my self. If I am doing carbine drills I can go through 150 round pretty easy. I got the extra pound to squirrel away. Powder is starting to come back finally. They had a bunch more single pound jugs and even some 8 pounders. Its noce to see that finally. I just loaded up some other stuff too in the last few nights, but now im running out of magazines to fill. Need more haha Those magazines are loaded with different stuff. |

Yesterday I decided it would be a good idea to HIIT and a 4 mile run while pretty dehydrated. I had got home from work, felt a bit shakes and headachey and realized I didn't really drink anything most the day. I thought "meh, I'll hydrate after wards, since I'll be sweating my balls off anyways"
MISTAKE. Cramping so bad, especially my legs. Spent all day running up and down 2 flights of stairs, and I mean literally running. I paid for being a retard all freaking day |

When it dries up here and we have drought, I can't manage to even be out in it. But I can work outside in 100 degree heat as long as it's humid. Okay not like south Mississippi. That air is so thick I can't even breathe. But grew up working on a tobacco farm in 100 degree heat and was fine, so I guess it's what you're used to. Y'all in Arizona would probably think Kentucky humidity was awful. I like it. Now I'm not talking firefighting (if there is such a thing as fighting fire in humid conditions?) I don't think I could manage that job no matter what. That level of heat is just too intense. But overall, I thrive in humidity. Uxb likes it dry. He says, "it's hot but it's a dry heat" and I'm like, "so is hell." |

I'm gonna call him later and I'll update yall, but he's hoping to get out today. Of course, prayers for him healing quick are greatly appreciated. View Quote Aw, crud!
