Team:
My dad found this link that the USAF has been running. It contains quite a few Basic Training class photos and is organized by year and month (which seems to be graduation month). We haven't been able to find his class picture, but several co-workers have found themselves in their class photos. The site also tells how to submit pics if you have them as well. Hopefully you can find your pics! http://www.bmtflightphotos.af.mil/index.asp |

OMG!
I can't believe you found that!!! I just found my flight and I had long lost the actual photo somewhere in a move I can't thank you enough for posting this!! I'm showing my kids for the first time ETA I can't believe how many of those guys I remember just like it was yesterday. I can recall conversations we had and their hometowns even. Dang, talk about memory lane 26 years ago |

Found mine!
326 FLT 801 October 2004 Thanks for the link I saved a copy years ago but I don't know where it went. Edit: BDUs were the shit, I don't care what anyone says. |
That's cool. I wasn't in, but have a friend that was in the sixties. I sent him the link.

Wow there are a lot of pics of my father on here when he was an MTI at Lackland. That man pushed a ton of troops!
I looked through there a year or two back and couldn't find my flight's photo. Maybe I'll take another look.
Somehow I did not leave with my basic training portrait. I think our TI's dropped the ball or simply didn't bother. I left Lackland about 1 April 1975, and I have no idea what the squadron or flight numbers might be. |
Mine's not there, Flt 688, 3708 BMTS, sometime in summer, 1975. SSGTs Strubbe and Cazoban. I have my book though. Somewhere.

mine's there
Flt 701, 322nd TRS Aug 2004 while I hated ironing and starching them, some days I do miss BDU's |
Awesome, i was looking for my flight but i found a pic of one of our QA inspectors (he was a MTI).
Currently stationed with my MTI, different afsc though. Still have the same bdu's from basic hanging in my closet |
It's been a few years since I've checked, time to see if anybody has found a pic of my flight.

Thanks OP, I had no idea this existed. Mine is missing but will try to find it and submit it to the site. Don't remember the flight number, but will probably always remember Sgt's Zook and Trujillio!

I wish they had that for the ARMY, I lost all of my pics in a flood. This site was started by a private individual. They just asked people to post their pictures and hosted them. Then the AF decided it would be a good historic site to participate in and adopted it officially. The pics are all sent in by individuals, the photo places didn't keep an archive. It's easy enough to start something similar for the Army. |
