It seems her mother was your stereotypical ghetto young mother, and she was rather disinterested in the miracle of becoming a mom for the second time and having a new baby. The nurses in the post-partum ward were pressing her to name the baby, fill out the birth certificate forms, and Social Security paperwork etc. and her mother wasn't in a hurry. One nurse asked Marijuana Pepsi's mother some helpful questions like "What do you like? What inspires you?" in hopes it would help her come up with a name. I guess it did. |
