Sure, if I could live a comparable life out there, I see no reason why not. I loved it when I visited.

Wife and I will be moving to Naples or Ft. Meyers within the next year.
|
|
I escaped the Tampa area for Utah.
Zero interest in ever returning. |
|
Florida is where all my family and most of my friends are.
If circumstances occured that I could, I would move back in a heartbeat. That said, I do not miss the damn traffic down there. |
|
Depends. Cape San Blas, most likely. Anywhere else in Florida, no thanks.

fuck no
last time i got a hurricane shoved up my ass , at least i got paid for it |

Yep, as long as it is an area with an active shooting community, local 3gun comps, long range capabilities.

I would go to the west coast like Naples, Ft. Myers even crappy Cape Coral you could probably buy a condo for about $40K or better rent for about $700 a month which is cheap for Fl

Lived there while I was in flight school.
Nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there. |

I wish I could get out. Gulf coast of Texas is in my dreams. Either Texas or Nevada.

I've worked on both coasts from Ft. Lauderdale to Miami and over in Naples and Ft. Myers. I am currently living in Naples and working in Boca & Miami. The warm winter weather is definitely a bonus. I've also lived in plenty of other places and Florida is no better or worse than them. The traffic in Miami & Ft. Lauderdale sucks beans worse than most places, but Naples is paradise. |

I am about 10 miles from the Florida line, and less than an hour from the salt water fishing boat ramp and beach cabin.
I'm happy! |

If you are reading this here (which of course you are, Duh!), then sure we can make some room.
If you are speaking of all the retards who DO move down here, then NO, we got HUGE bugs, oppressive humidity, a well armed populace, and instant cancer causing sunshine, best to stay away. |

Nope, and I'm not looking forward to spending the next 6 weeks in Fort Lauderdale, either. Although the temperature will be better than home!

<-------- Florida native
Been away for 20 years. I desperately wish to return home |
|
Maybe. Florida isn't all that far away(or all that different) from where I am now. At least I'd be closer to the beach.
|
|
|
Not Florida. I'd go to Tennessee first. Closer to the classes I'd take.

If I had a descent job waiting it would be a consideration, I have a lot of family in Florida.
