Rumor on another part of this site says that pistol versions for both are approved for import and show up in distributor listings.

Where is the other thread?

Those looked pretty cool when they were posted a while back.  Now that the Sig MPX is coming out and similar it might drive the prices down eventually.

So..... converting to a rifle? As I understand it doesn't require paperwork? I'm probably wrong.

That's what I don't get.  Why now?  Who authorized it?

Not seeing it.

And I am a very trusting guy.

From the get-go, I have said that I will steal from my kids' piggy banks if they opted to import the Evo's.

I got the sledge on deck, baby!!

Any primary sourcing for this info by chance?  My Google Fu is shitty and comes through with no good results.

I saw $2195 for the Bren and <$1000 for the Evo. Both will reportedly accept a Sig Brace.

From FB:

CZ ARE COMING !!!!
THE CZ ARE COMING !!!
Yes you read that right CZ is finally realeasing pistol variants of the 805-Bren and the Scorpion Evo3 for the civilian market.

These beauties will be compatable with the SB-15 Sig brace. It is unknown if CZ will be releasing rifle variants of these long awaited firearms. The pistols should be released around the end of January 2015.

We will be taking Pre-sales beginning today !!! Please contact the shop for more info.

Ditto.  I was kinda hesitant on the MPX because of no .45, but with the massive difference in the price tag....I can live with 9mm.

Got to say, 2015 is shaping up to be a banner year for interesting stuff.

ETA: Kind of feels like the late 80's with all of the different import stuff and pistol (carbines).

Sorry man.  But I'm sure a resourceful person can get by somehow.

Yep, they're out here, in full auto.  Recently banned for civies though.  I think they come out to $7,000 or so.
