I've noticed that the mods/staff are often called upon to edit multiple replies in a thread due to repeated follow-on quotes of the first post requiring an edit.

Could some sort of fancy-guy code be written to give them a "replace all "x" with "y" option?

In other words, someone posts "kill the Jews" and it get's quoted 15 times by other members before mod/staff get to it.

The mod then uses the replace feature to replace "kill the Jews" with "<edit>".

That would allow them to make the initial and follow-on edits in just one step.

Just an idea.
