Hi. Would yall recommend me some casual shoes that aren’t “sneakers” “athletic shoes” etc? I’m not a big fan of those sneaker type cloth shoes with white soles either. This would be something to wear with jeans, casual long pants etc. something leather would be fine too. I already have a pair of cowboy boots but they aren’t the most comfortable to put miles on during the day. Thank you.

Sketchers has a bunch of slip on and lace up shoes that are comfortable (for my feet, at least) and look good in a business casual office environment. Some have cloth uppers but there are some styles with leather. uppers I get mine at Academy or DSW.

Thanks for the suggestions. I’m trying to up my style a bit and I don’t imagine those shoes would look good with my current clothing. I probably need to change my clothing style a bit to be able to wear nicer clothing. Keep the suggestions coming, I appreciate all the help

Ariat Spitfire. This is a desert boot style in just about any leather you can imagine - suede, dark brown, light brown, waterproof, etc. Wide toe box, lots of arch support, very comfy soles.

Minnetonka Moosehide moc's. Stupidly comfortable, soft as butter, lasts and lasts. Goes great with what you want to wear.

Ecco track 25 Boots. They're comfortable and last. Not dressy, more casual and work.
I have nicer Nicks for sharp casual, night out.
Allen Edmonds and Thursday for sharp casual.

Shoes, Johnston Murphy Jameson plain toe, calfskin and leather welt. $250
Johnston Murphy Upton cowhide, leather welt. $140
Florsheim Norwalk cowhide, synthetic welt. $120
Pikolinos has some good options $200
Allen Edmonds has a dressier ones $300 onsale -400

I bought a pair of these boots from Sportsman’s Guide last winter they are comfortable and go with with casual clothing or even a little dressier occasion.

I also like Common Projects, Koio, and Goral with the latter being my favorite pair but are north of $300 but resole-able.

Wasn't sure I was going to like them but they are great - much better looking than most photos suggest.

There are some in black with a "football texture" right now for ~$250
