I think there was a Destiny 2 beta thing listed with the season pass stuff I got preordering from the Microsoft Store.

For Xbox guys that ordered through the store you can try "pushing" the download to your Xbox. I'll hop on when I get home and see if any progress has been made.

The Beta will include the new subclasses plus Striker, Gunslinger, and Voidwalker with all of their Grenades, Melees and the top path of their abilities unlocked. The bottom paths will be saved for you to experience in the full game.

On consoles, if you preordered digitally, go to whatever respective store for your console, search for Destiny 2, and the beta will be available to download. It's 12.8 gigs on XBox.

Bungie has released a statement saying that this is a true beta. They expect lots of bugs. Just a heads up before anyone starts to doubt the game just off the beta.

Now if they discontinue the challenge modes... then there is another issue. I would think they will just open challenges on all of the raids after next week.. or well. I hope they do.
And as far as i know, the 390 versions will stay. So there's that at least. |
