 God bless Wayne. He is an institution unto himself. I'm sure he has impacted those around his real world more than those of us here on the web, but he is a very real part of AR15.com. When thinking of the soul or personality of this place, he is what comes to mind. He defines the best of all of us, the character of man we should all strive to have. Thank you for your update S.Sparks, and we surely hope that your next will be of great news! |

I never knew him personally but he was one of those wise guys, those great members. He IMO is one of AR15.com's greatest assets. |

ETH is loved and respected by many throughout the entire country. This is very sad news for all of us. Hang in there Wayne, our thoughts and dearest wishes are with you.

best wishes for Wayne and his family. I hope he has a speedy recovery. I have never met him or talked to him in person, but whenever I spoke with him here he always seemed to be a great, stand up guy, and I hate to hear he's not doing well.

We were seriously considering making the trek back to the Hun Farm this year. My wife really enjoyed meeting and talking with Wayne back in '03, as did I.

I just got back from the hospital.
Wayne's condition is pretty much unchanged. However, it doesn't look good. His blood pressure continues to drop, which isnt a very positive sign. He is still on life support. He looked very peaceful. |

She was almost there when I left. Hound and Psyren are still up there. We talked with Wayne's brother for quite a while. It was just like talking with Wayne.

We know that you are looking over our Brother in Arms, I ask that you keep him safe, and return him to good health. Father it is no secret that Wayne has no love stronger then his love for you. In this we can all take great comfort. Father if I could ask one thing it would be that you can keep him here with all of us a little longer, but If not, there is no one here that can blame you for wanting him by your side so soon. Wayne is a good man...One of the best of men, and someone for all of us to follow as an example. Father I ask that you also bless Wayne and his family, along with each and everyone of us here. If you must take him, please make sure Scooter is there waiting, I know that would add to his happiness. In Jesus's name I pray.. Amen. |

Wow, this account still works... :)
I am risking my account being locked, but oh well. I figured this would have been locked a long time ago... On my way into work, I came back up here this morning-- brought my laptop this time. I've been here since about 5:30, and there have been some minor changes, but its about the same. Looks like his temperature has spiked since I arrived and he's been running a fever. His blood pressure also dropped, then went back up after the nurse did a few things. I will be leaving soon, but will still receive updates from his brother. -E.
