I shot with a friend yesterday who showed me his new FCCL card. It took 39 days from the day he applied until he received it in the mail. thats such bullshit. its like if you want to pay an EXTRA $60 you can get it months in advance. It depends. Some people are over 90 days with prints and no explanation for the delay. This is Illinois. It's not like they process them in any kind of order or anyone can make sense out of how things are done in Springfield. |

applied 1/5 no prints #8,xxx still under review 97 days so far getting pretty pissed Since 120 days is the mark, no reason to be pissed. It's coming, brother. people with prints got them in 30 days Well, boohoo. If you wanted to "expedite" receiving your carry license, I suggest you should've submitted your application with fingerprints. The state clearly says it could take up to 90 days with prints, and 120 days without them. Nowhere did it say if guys that submitted prints are receiving licenses within 30 days, guys that are not submitting will receive licenses in 60... Some of you guys that did not submit prints seem to be crying over the fact it's taking a little longer to receive your license. I filed with no prints, full well knowing it'd take longer to receive than if I got them. I was ok with that, as I saved the money on the prints and it'll still come but just might have to wait a bit longer. Until the state surpasses 120 days on "no print" applications, I'm not seeing a problem here. Day 77 here...over and out. |

Today is day 92 for me (submitted without prints obviously). The ISP sure are taking their sweet time with my app, #8879. Active on my 98th day! Woot! And received in the mail today! However, I didn't get one, but two copies. Did anybody else get two envelopes, each containing a copy of your FCCL? |
