Nice I'll check them out, what did you get done?  I'm looking to get an AK and an AR done, hoping to find someone local to do the AR in the trigger area.

They use a diamond drag engraver. The actual engraving is nice but the anodizing can flake off. I was told this before hand. Mine flaked off and looks crappy. I tried to use alumablack on it with less than stellar results. Its not deep enough to color fill either.

Keep in mind this is just my one experience with them. I have not gone back to try a different lower or firearm.

I'm going to pass and make the trek across the mountain so Trevor can do mine.

If I was closer to Trevor I would use him.  Until I find a good local option (Spokane area), I used

http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_6_51/430172_SBR_Engraving___2_for_CS223.html

Check out the thread for pictures, etc.  I have no connection with this company.

Yeah, I had to pay for shipping both ways, but the results look factory, and they have quick turn around.

Anyone else in the Wenatchee or Spokane area? or anywhere in between?
I'm nowhere near Trevor and CS223 says he's busy until after Thanksgiving

I don't know what they used. Mine turned out just fine. Maybe the anodizing on my lower is different.
