Thanks. It does shoot great, I’ve never had any issues suppressed or not, and it’s very accurate.

It is! Snagged here for a deal. Currently laying on the couch with it on and my DW eco in there. Really comfy to carry with pjs or around the house so far.

The grip flops around with a loaded government in it, so not ideal for super concealment. But seems really nice so far.

I bought it so I could wear a 1911 on road trips (relatively) comfortably.

I forget can you run a belt through the holster on that one?
I use a shoulder holster quite a bit while they don’t get a lot of love today they make for a convenient way to carry a gun with spares in a handy grab and go and are better seated for me then strong side iwb. I normally use a Jackass Rig that I run with a slight negative cant helps with the length of the government. Doesn’t see as much carry time as it used to but still my preference for vehicle.

Yeah I figure it’s for lower speed/more comfort when I want to carry like that. Spent ~5 hours in it around the house and it was nice.

Doesn’t have pants tie down but I could add it easy enough. I tried tha before snd it was a real pain in the butt when I tried to bend or move too much.

It does have a strap in the rear which I love. Means no flopping around when I bend forward.

@03RN

Ok, finally got to put 50 rounds through the Garrison. Not a lot, but at least a start. My impressions:

-Trigger is good and crisp with short reset.
-Thumb safety is positive when switching positions
-No malfunctions using seven different 7 round magazines.
-Didn’t notice the lack of stippling on the front strap.

Accuracy was pretty good. I don’t consider myself a dead eye, but seven yards off-hand gave this for the first 15 rounds:

With the other 35 rounds, I fired two round strings, coming from low ready, disengaging safety and shooting when the sights were sorta aligned.  Again, from seven yards:

The only thing I would say is if you’re going to use the Garrison for serious business, I did get a palm bitten during a magazine exchange. So I’d recommend at least using magazines with slam pads.

Otherwise, I’d consider it a great buy.

Just picked this up for my girlfriend. She loves my Colt LWT Commander but wanted something with a little less recoil. Tisas B9BA in 9mm. I did swap out the long trigger for a short Greider.

Nice. BTW, the grip appears to be made by Keyes. You should find a set of Colt's large ring grips.

Springfield operator light rail custom shop 1911 made during the height of their FBI contact.
Nowlin barrel and all the goodies.

This one was used by Springfield Armory at Shot Show 2007 as their FBI show pistol and was featured in Combat Handguns magazine in 2007.
