Ok, I have no experience with the gun, and from what I've read they can be hit or miss (same can be said for most guns). Anyway, for a truck gun I would at least consider a Sccy. It fits all of the requirements the OP posted, and their warranty is said to be killer. Apparently, they will replace the gun if it is stolen or confiscated as evidence by the police. For a gun that will spend most of it's life in an unoccupied vehicle a replacement guarantee sounds pretty good to me. Like I said, I don't have any experience than holding one for a second at the gun show today, so take this suggestion with a grain of salt.

Summit Gunbroker has glock 22's for $329 w/ 3 mags. View Quote This, G22's can be had pretty damn cheap and often with 2-3 mags. I'm not a huge .40 fan (though I do own a few of them), and I'm not even that big of a Glock fanboi, but in the $300-350 used range the G22 is a nobrainer if you want a high quality truck gun with all the plusses of having a Glock (cheap and easy mags, holsters, accessories, etc) in your price range. Sure you can get a quality gun including others listed in this thread, but how is cost and selection of mags, holsters, etc and where do you find them? Plus, no bent dick horror of a trigger like on the M&P. |

I'd say the two in the running right now would be a P95 and the G22 but if I had to choose then it would be the P95 because I already reload and buy 9x19, and I have lots of it stashed up right now. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I'd say a Sigma/9vde or maybe a ruger p95. If you add $50 to the budget you can get one of the new Caniks. agree with what ^ he says other than the blatant ignoring of the fact you said no CANIK in your first post P95 is an amazing value. If S&W it HAS to be a sD9ve not a sW9ve http://i.imgur.com/hlcDFei.jpg I paid $99 for it. I'll give you $105. |

You can probably find a ruger SR9E for that price. Maybe even the standard SR9. Not as popular as some other models but they seem like a good value.

I just passed up a Glock 32 with 7 mags for $350. That is what OP needs.

If I was in your boat I would look at the following....
-used Ruger SR series -LE trade in or used Glock 23/22 (Even consider the 2nd Gen models) Not double stacked, but still an option... Kahr CW9 Or a ugly Springfield XD. I see these going for $350ish at times. In the $300 price range it really limits your avenues, but with patience Im sure you will find something. |
