Has anyone tried mounting an RDS (Burris FF3/CMore RTS STS/RMR) directly onto the slide of an SP01 by milling out the slide rather than using an adaptor plate?  If so, what is the maximum depth and length that can be safely milled out?  Pictures would be great....
