Been itching to finish off my last lower and decided to go with this the kit w/out the FCG and ordered the Geissele SSA trigger. Seemed like halfway sensible prices on both. I did the exact same thing. SSA-E trigger with the PSA build kit w/o fcg. Great forum. Excellent links and discussion. Keep it up, guys. |

Fyi, the lower parts kit I ordered on 2/7 direct from cmmg's website (with no promise date) shipped today.
Fwiw, the price of those kits was ~$65 - ish. So if youre not in a hurry, theres no need to pay big $$ for a parts kit. |

PSA lower build with no FCG PSA classic lower build kit Glad to see PSA upped their price by $10! You mean $50? |

Fargin' bastiches. I'm trying to keep track of the gougers for when this panick is over... On topic, PSA still seems to have their Classic Lower Build Kit in stock, and for $129.99. It includes the standard LPK parts, plus a MIL-SPEC receiver extension, spring and buffer, and their M4 stock. Beats the crap out of Joe Profiteer's basic LPK for $200, doesn't it? |

RRA LPK and NM LPK in stock monsterguns.com 99.99 reg and 199.99 NM

Just ordered a pair, Thanks. I just recieved 2 DPMS lowers from them last week as well. Fast shipping. They usually remove add to cart when OOS |

M&A Parts kits still available it seems, however I wasn't that impressed with the quality. I ordered a RRA LPK directly from RRA, and the quality is noticeably better. That being said, my only *real* complaint with the M&A kit is that the safety selector is made in such a way that when on safe or semi, it's not truly vertical or horizontal....it's off by about 10 degrees. The finish is OK, and I've always been a fan of standard single stage triggers (never really fell in love with the RRA two stage.) I'll get a name brand safety selector switch at some point, and the rest of the M&A kit will work well enough.

Core-15 LPK's are GTG... I have them in 3 of my builds... The trigger is much better than the majority of LPK's I have used :)
|
|
Ordered a RRA LPK minus the trigger group direct from RRA. On 2/16/13 and recieved it on 3/1/13. Looks like all of their kits are avalible.

Is the PSA kit good for $129 ??,, does anyone have any regrets? Also what about the DPMS stripped lower?? For $180 http://www.elementarms.com/DPMS-.223-5.56-Stripped-Lower-Receiver.html |

The trigger is a little gritty, feels like its a little heavy but I dont have one of those trigger pound measures. All in all it's a good kit for a decent price at the time.
|
|
I only ask because I've never built an AR. I have a DDM4
I'm only thinking of buying because they are available.. beside putting a build together would be coo.... Maybe I should just wait and buy next year when the prices are back to normal. Also how much are the prices inflated compared to say last year? What did the DPMS .223-5.56 Stripped Lower Receiver "used" to sell for? Now it's $180 |

Is the PSA kit good for $129 ??,, does anyone have any regrets? Everybody else's LPKs are just the lower guts, while the PSA kit ALSO has the stock parts. I'd say that was a pretty darn good deal. Oh wait - Yeah, I think it's a pretty darn good deal, and I ordered one. From my experience with other stuff from PSA, I expect to be fully satisfied. |

Big thumbs up to ar15sports. Ordered lpk Tues received Fri. Less shipping than the website quoted.

RRA LPK's in stock at PK Firearms.
http://www.pkfirearms.com/Lower_Receiver_Parts_Kits/34/c ETA: Weird. For me, the page shows "In Stock" and I can add one to my cart, but then when I try to check out it says "out of stock". |

RRA has a quick turn around when you order small parts and lpk's, already ordered several times within the last month and been getting my stuff within weeks!

I have ordered from PK, and they are now my favorite. They don't list stuff they don't have and let you wonder about it being in stock or not. If you see an upper(or anything else for that matter) listed...you can buy it. And they ship quick, too. I am VERY happy so far with them.

I've never ordered anything from PK, much less a lower parts kit. The web page had "In Stock" showing and I was able to add one to my cart. However, when I went to check-out, it said that they were out of stock. Not particularly impressed. |
