Guys, here is my newest baby, just got her finished day before yesterday and hopefully to the range tomorrow.

http://www.img4free.com/images/glock223/ar1.jpg

Got a heck of a deal on the stripped lower because of a scratch (above trigger) and only have $162.00 in the complete lower!!!!!!  Bought the Oly upper off of the EE.  Can't wait to shoot it!!

ordered one from SteyrAug, guess I'll have to be patient.  I'd like to SBR and suppress it, oh, and put a flat top on it as well

What drum is that, and what system does it fit?

(on edit) Nevermind - I just saw the pic name when I quoted it.  Won't work for me... bummer.

I finally got the balls to camo my 9mm AR build.  It's nothing to fancy, just your average 4 color woodland camo.  I took out the FCG and bolt to keep any potential oil from seeping out, I also took out the mag block and the front and rear sights so I don't get any paint on them.

quietshooter,
please tell me about your can.

What type?  How much suppression?  How does it attach?

I was just kicking around the idea of SBR'ing mine and getting a can for it but now I think I may just be crazy enough to dump another grand into it and go ahead with it.

I got to try out the Advanced Armament  M4 2000 with the quick attach flash hider recently and I loved it, but I dont think they make them for 9mm.

My new baby:

RRA 9mm upper stuffs
Aimpoint ML2
Some kind of el-cheapo Aimpoint mount
A Hahn bottom feeding adapter
SNS lower
RRA furniture, because I like green for some reason - never used to, but now I love the stuff

With the mount you're using on the ML2 now, does it still co-witness?

Does for me!  It's not perfect, but close.  I may wind up going to an ARMS at some point, but I had the GGG one sitting around, so it got used.  That happens a lot around my place.

Now if Colt would just sell me some cheap mags....

Does Colt even still sell them?  Are they no longer made and Colt selling old ones?  Do they only sell to LE depts directly?

I have been wondering why prices didn't really come down after the ban expired.

Hallmark Ent (Steve) – what is the upper in the bottom photo? I’ve been kicking around the idea of a suppressed 9mm upper, and that looks a lot like a Lauer integrally-suppressed upper I’ve seen advertised.

Got it finished this week:

RRA CAR A4 9mm upper
Stag Arms lower with RRA 9mm hammer and buffer
ARMS #40L BUIS
Hahn Precision bottom loading mag block
Tactical Urban Camo Couch

It may get some sort of railed handguard and an Aimpoint at some time in the future.

I just put 300 rounds through it without a single hitch.  This thing kicks ass!

Ok, Here's mine.  It's a OLY upper on a Oly forged receiver that has a RRA LPK and a RRA stock.

Here is a Oly-RRA/Colt Hybrid.   It's a RRA 9mm upper receiver that has been modified for Oly internals and 11.5 barrel. Added a TAC latch too.  SNS lower receiver and two-piece STEN magwell blocks with 32rd mag. Uses standard mag release without any welded on blocks

Here is the same rifle with a 20rd mag that was cut-down from a 32rd.

Here is a close up of the upper receiver... note Oly ejector pin.

I love this little rifle, it's one of my favorites  to shoot

RRA uppers are ideal for these conversions......no forward assist or shell deflector needed.  Simple, clean, and lightweight.  Just drill the holes in the receiver and install the ejector.  Here is the 45ACP Thread in case anyone wants to read the details.
