So, I still haven't worked out the kinks of my 10.5 5.56 but I'm going to go ahead and pick up a 10.5 in the dirty commie round.

What have you guys used for the bolts and firing pins for the x39 pistols?
It's just the bolt and pin that are different correct? The Bolt carrier can be any 5.56 carrier, right?

yep, carrier is the same

From all the reading I have done here; the bolt carrier is the same unless using ak mags then it's a little different. the bolt, pin, barrel should be all that's different. Some 556 pins will work also.

I have a tactical ambush 7.62x39 bolt 9310 steel just got it today looks good won't know the punishment it will handle first hand for a month or so while doing my pistol build but have read good things about it

Also have the tactical ambush "enhanced" firing pin to help with the 7.62x39 primers on certain makes of ammo.
