Try the Rustoleum camo paint I've had it on my shotty for years and no paint bled onto me.

As soon as my 20 " er is done I'll add it to the lineup..

-Geissel 2-Stage Trigger
-Magpul ACS
-Magpul ASAP

Upper:
-BCM 20" SS410 Barrel with Rifle Length Gas System
-BCM Upper Receiver
-BCM BCG
-Smith Enterprise Flash Hider
-Diamondhead USA 15" VRS Rail
-Harris Bipod

After rereading the BCM post on removing front sight pins, I finally succeeded in getting my Colt FSB off. I even accomplished it with an 8 ounce claw hammer in only two to four whacks.

I think it's time to sell my high power upper that I haven't used in three years to fund an optic. Still pretty conflicted on that; there are some reduced range matches pretty close by that I could use to gently get my inaccurate ass back into it.

What buffer you got in the carbine stock extension?  Just curious.  I'm not real into 20"er's with a collapsible stock, but that one looks good.  Looks like it might be real accurate too.  I'm assuming that's your 3 gun rifle?

It would be hard to sell that A2....  Very hard.  Is it an HBAR?

It has an H buffer. I haven't shot it yet, but don't anticipate any problems. The service rifle upper is not pictured. The A2 you see there is a government profile. These days I'm not very serious about 3-gun. I've been alternating between an ACOG equipped carbine, an aimpoint equipped carbine and my old A2. I have yet to fire the A4, since I don't see the point so long as I don't have glass and have a good A2. I'm looking very closely at the new Trijicon 2.5-10x Accupower scopes that recently came out. I love that A2, and still shoot it about as well as my new fancy carbines with fancy optics. If I ever fall under hardship, it will be the last rifle to go.

Just snapped another few pics. Here is my whole pony collection. I thought seriously about replacing the barrel on the A4 with a white oak, but I want to test it with glass before making a decision. I'm not that good at shooting anyway, and government profile barrels sure are more comfortable to carry around. The carbine with the Aimpoint is getting chopped to 10.5 in a few weeks.

Unless those ranges are run by fudds, use the new optic in the matches.

The point is now moot. I noticed that Primary Arms had a massive sale on Geisseles. As soon as my new SSA arrives, the high speed national match is getting replaced by the SSA, and I am going to reassemble my high power lower.

How do you like the TA33?  I was thinking that would be a really good GP optic.  How's the eye relief?  That's cool about your carbine getting chopped.  You'll have the perfect collection.  Well, (2) 20's is kind of redundant, and seeins how you have a 3rd upper.    20's are so much fun to shoot though.

Is the railed carbine a middy?

No, it is a 6920. I love the TA33. I've shot it a lot at 3-gun matches that do exclusively short range stuff, and can double tap it nearly as well as my Aimpoint. In my opinion it is great for a jack of all trades carbine. The eye relief is not a problem. It's much better than the 4x models.

Got my new SSA today to put in the long range build (as soon as I get around to saving up for a scope).  Put my high power build back together. The two A2s were my first ARs.

All I need to finish the highpower build is an A1 stock body.

Nothing quantifiable. It's just a feeling.

It may be the difference in LOP going from A1's to an A2, but I wouldn't swear to it.

When a guy uses arms rings, the extra length probably helps with where the scope needs to be placed.   I like the length of A2 stocks too.

I definitely can't shoot NTCH with it.

The eye relief of the mk4, even on 8x, has my cheek weld pretty far back on the A2.

Built this a few years back and finally got around to shooting it from a seated position.
At 50 yds it looked like a shotgun blast.  Could not keep the groups tight or consistant, the best one was about 3".
Tried it with a TA01 ACOG and the NF.
Barrel nut is tight, used Federal PMC and reloads.
