Ordered! Waiting for a SiCo Omega to get out of NFA jail - I will relegate it to my 300 Blackout. This will mate up nicely with my old pre-xtran OBR! Should be approved about the time next spring rolls around and it gets to be time for shooting!

Looks nice but I have more 30 cal cans than I do 30cal rifles right now. I'm sure others will be jumping all over this though!
Looks like the description is missing some important info... Db ratings at ear and muzzle? Minimum length and caliber ratings? |

I bought a can from Silencer Shop and used their service where they handle all the paperwork and it was so much faster that way. If I lived in Texas I'd be all over the Valet service. |

$25 Class III xfer here (form 4). Other than going through SS can't beat that twenty five bucks. I've heard average is $100 ish. We have an amazing FFL/SOT here in central Oklahoma.

For those with pinned and welded socom brakes on a 14.5" barrel, LT does not currently have any plans to offer a retrofit for the new brake for the new suppressor. Are there any recommendations as to who might be best to do this?

The valet service also includes going to their shop. Silencer Co just killed their pickup service - but if you used it in the past, you understand how much time it takes (the company) to man that desk. It was pretty much 2 (if not 3) full time employees. Even then each of the 3 suppressors I got from them was an hour standing in line. At least this $100 service probably will not come with an hr wait.
I was wondering if they would start offering it on SBR's as well. |

$200 for a transfer??!! So what if I order the 2 max per customer... Is that $100 per can or does the Valet cover both cans on a single order?
A data point here: $50 for 1st item and $35 for each item after is the norm for me... |

Will these be made for 5.56? I do not own any 308, however I'm getting me one of those UDE 5.56 PredatOBR with the new fancy adapters.
It would be cool to be able to have my fist nfa thingy to match the rifle. I know you can use a 308 can on 5.56 but isn't a dedicated can more betta |

The versatility of being able to use your can on 556 and 308 far outweighs that small gain IMO. I bought a 556 dedicated can and really wished that I had got the 308 counterpart.....wait, no I don't because then I wouldn't "need" a 308 can and therefore wouldn't have an LT can headed to NFA jail. |

I'd rather have two .308 cans than one 5.56 and one .308.
On the 5.56 PredatOBR, you'll need a .30 cal can when they start shipping 300blk barrels |

I fo. No specs on it yet but I have to believe Mark would not bring something to market that would not perform towards the top end of the competition. Don't know the guy but his products have earned enough street cred for that. I'm comfortable with the purchase. |

The facts are these.
I've been waiting on on Larue suppressor just like a lot of other people. The intro price is good, but if that doesn't last then it will be a hard sell. Here is why. The current price for the Omega is 815.00 which includes a mount and direct thread adapter. Currently silencerco is also giving you an extra flash hider with the omega when you register you can online. Currently omega/specwar mounts are 68.00. Now the Larue can is 750.00 with a mount. Extra mounts are 100.00 There are no numbers for the Larue. Until number are released I think the better deal is a Omega, even after number are released I still think the better deal is an Omega. If the price on the Larue goes up, I think it will be in the same bed a the Rugged Surge. The reason for such lack luster sales on the surge is the price. No body wants to spend that much money on a can when a proven performer can be had for a lot less money. The Omega weights less and costs less. It's a hard sell. Just my .02 |
