I am still mad I missed out on the last one in S TX, so I'm wondering if ya'll have anything planned on coming back this way this year?

GA is far. I'll call Vic and see if he wants to try to put another one on in TX again. Maybe I can get him out to the central TX area.

Red back one had one posted a month or so ago that was going to be held in CA in April that I was going to put in for. But now it's gone from their site...
I'd go again if in Texas. I was at the last one and it was too much fun!

I believe I have a line on a range that will allow night shooting too. I'll update ya'll as it goes along. Would weekend or week days work better for ya'll?

Don't get me wrong his carbine course is one of the best but he does fall on the list of instructors with LE only classes.
As per Telluric Group I think they have always teamed up with TNVC for the classes and may be mobile now. As for the distance flying in and out of there was simple and the training facility is across the street from several hotels making training good year around. I would imagine if you don't go there you would be missing out on extra material such as structure movement, obstacle course, and possible the shoot portion. |

It wouldnt be hard for me if i would actually get that break and slow down they have been promising me for the last 3 years. |

eta: as long as it's not during my 3 week firearms instructor course. Which is rumored to be in May. |

I spoke with Eric at TNVC and he is willing to work with me on putting a class together. I am going to work on securing a range and then I will try to lay down some dates. Stay tuned. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Any word doc? I spoke with Eric at TNVC and he is willing to work with me on putting a class together. I am going to work on securing a range and then I will try to lay down some dates. Stay tuned. Very good. I have a medical seminar March29-30 and sure as shit it will be then. |
I'll pitch a few dates to ya'll when I get a look at my calendar. I have a ton of shit I need to get done in the next two weeks, hopefully after that I'll have some time freed up to dedicate to organizing this.
Depending on what the total cost will be (TX isn't exactly in driving distance for a yankee such as myself ), I may be in
I'm definitely interested in getting in on this. I got a PVS14 from TNVC that should be shipping any day now and I need to learn how to get the most out of it.

I've trained many times at Telluric group.
The facility is second to none as far as NVG training is concerned. I've taken both the Nightvision operator and the Nightvision Defender class from them and Eric Butler and Kyle Harth were even in attendance shooting and doing some training! by training Eric shot me in the hand with a UTM sim round that hurt like a mofo. Yes for some of y'all it's a hike but well worth it. |
We are having problems finding a suitable venue in the surrounding Travis County area. ALERRT and Wilco both cannot do night shooting. I'm still working on one other location.
I'd go down there for it as well. Had a blast at the last one and learned a ton. Maybe if everyone had suppressors it'd be easier to find a night venue?
Just sayin, the municipal range here in las cruces, nm allows night shooting.
And if it was local I'm sure we could get a few slots filled from our swat guys. We also have a U.S. Shooting academy instructor on staff here, very knowledgeable. |

I've exhausted all the ranges I have access to be able to do night shooting at. The only other option I have on the table is a military installation but I don't believe they will allow any civilians and it would be much more involved with my agency to get it going.
Kinda given up. I believe Green Eye Tactical is doing one in College Station coming up. |
Sean Cody and I are looking into doing one in Houston area. We, too, are trying to finalize a range.

Update, I have located a range that is amicable to the hours and programming. Stay tuned.
Fantastic. I've got a couple of students to add to the roster when you do.
Also, Telluric has a NVD1 and NVD2 now. Maybe something combined for us hard core addicted? |
I'm going to get in touch with Eric and see what his thoughts are. No details as of yet. First the range. Second the dates. Third the class.... then comes the tough part.
