I like that they named a character after me. No, really. That had to be it. No way it was coincidence.

lol I noticed the book of Eli house as well.
Haven't seen that movie in quite awhile. Funny how some things stand out. |

I liked the vehicles. The landscapes were pretty good. The action sequences were ok. But the storyline was kind of goofy, and the characters were so flat, that I swear when they turned sideways, they disappeared.

Ok movie buffs, how many movies are in that last trailer?
Fury road Road warrior Book of Eli And I think a Resident Evil scene. |

One of the best movies I've ever seen on the big screen.
I don't expect cucks to understand. |

It's probably in my top 5 favorite movies of all time. If it's not your thing, that's fine. But if you actually pay attention and watch it repeatedly, you'll see that it is immaculately directed and filmed. Every scene and line is meant to be there, and serves a purpose. Important things are introduced before they are used again. The action scenes are staged wonderfully, and you can actually tell what is going on and what caused what to happen. The attention to detail is amazing. Every character, even the small ones, have their own story, attitude, and personality. It's not for everyone, but I loved it. It's one of those few movies that I've studied end-to-end. View Quote |

Caught the end on TV the other day.
Was blown away by the scale of it and that creepy guitar guy on front of truck. I'm sure I'll like it if I ever get around to watching start to finish. Sound track is probably bad ass too. |

https://image.ibb.co/jW5pdQ/furyroadrating.jpg I think the people critical of this movie have NEVER seen a Mad Max movie. Or they are blinded by nostalgia and don't remember how SLOW paced Mad Max movies are, and how little you actually see of Max in those films. Max is a vessel by which we explore and experience the universe of the post-apocalyptic Mad Max films. The movies are about the place, not the person. View Quote the movie was 10 pounds of WTF in a 3 pound sack. don't get me wrong i enjoyed the chases and such but at the same time i was wondering at the retardation of it all. |

Wanted to see it but accidently rented something else called "Furry Rode". I'll spare you the details.

I loved the movie, but have questions about the universe.
I get making gasoline. How do they make tires? What they had aint common. I imagine batteries are a bit easier, but same general questions. I know it's fiction, just curious how it would work in the real world. |

It was an over the top comic book level action flick which defies belief.
I liked it :) |

I loved Fury Road, so I naturally tried to go And watch the original Mad Max. Good God it was so boring I could hardly finish it. Radically different from The Road Warrior, which is awesome. For those saying FR had no plot, what exactly was the plot of Mad Max? I can barely remember anything more than a simple revenge plot/protect the family (he failed). View Quote |

View Quote The kiddies and clueless who don't have an idea of what the original series was about glorify it for being another crash-em-up car wasteland movie. But, no, you weren't the only one. I actually paid money to see it at the theater - me, a guy who does not go to the movies for a decade at a time - and I was livid before the movie ended. Just another storyline raped by Hollywood. |

Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior - re:View This is done one by the same guys who did the famous Prequel Star Wars reviews. While it is mostly about Road Warrior. There is a huge chunk why Fury Road is brilliant. And the "but it's not like Road Warrior" fake ass fans, are wrong because FR follows the formula. Max is that is just used to get the audience into the "universe". The main character is NOT Max. The main character is the world/universe itself. |

Seen it in theatres on opening day. To me it was literally "what the fuck is going on" for damn near half the movie. Once you understand whats going on then it made sense. Watching it on DVD after seeing it made watching it better. Of course theres some over the top things in it, but hey, its a movie. Hell I usually now just watch it to see Zoe Kravits, Riley Keough (if anyone didn't know, shes Elvis Presley's granddaughter) and Courtney Eaton. Abbey Lee (the tall skinny blonde) is OK, just not my type.
Hell I'm just waiting for the next Mad Max film. Hopefully they'll actually have an Aussie play Max finally. |
