Do you know anyone who has been Murdered?  Someone you knew well, and had met at least 10 times.

I am just wondering how common it is to know someone who was Murdered.

Yes, sat in group at church with her and the murderer husband.  Horrid man, sweet girl.  He always was nice, polite, respectful and behind the curtain he was a monster.

Yes, my manager was shot and killed by his wife several years ago. He was a good manager and seemed like a decent guy, but apparently he was shitty and abusive to his wife. She was acquitted of his murder.

My brother's father in law.  Owned a bar down in Morgan City for years.  He went missing for about six months before they found his body stuffed in a barrel in a nearby abandoned house.  Turns out a couple of meth heads murdered him when he was trying to shut down the bar one night.  Must have got the jump on him cause he kept a loaded .357 behind the bar.  Found the fucks in Florida a few months later I believe.  RIP George.

a friend of mine's father was killed by a guy he had hired to work on his home. also know someone who shot a guy 6 times with a 30-30 (oh boy did that work) and is in prison for it. these things aren't fun especially when lawyers get involved and try to spin it all around. the homeless guy was in fear for his life so he stabbed the elderly homeowner 28 times and stole his wallet etc.

Posted about him on here before.  We went to high school together and played baseball thriugh our senior year.

His name was Chris Kernich.  He was a victim of polar bear hunting before it was cool.  Google it if you want to be upset and pissed.

My brother's friend from high school shot his roommate, roommate's sister (who he had a crush on) and the sister's one night stand, then himself.
Does that count?

Don't know anyone who was murdered but due to rumors from the rich kids, I was accused by teachers of murdering a friend of mine-accidentally shot himself after school when I was getting ready to sit down with my mom for supper. I was 14.

I had a neighbor, An AR-15 owner that I used to talk to quite a bit. He lived a few doors down from me in a large house and rented out rooms to friends. He seemed kind of odd but not in a bad way. After a couple of years, he kicked his friends out and put the house up for sale. He moved away but would come back to visit a couple of times a month. Then several months passed and he stopped visiting.

A year later a police officer stopped by and said he found out that guy was found dead several months ago. Apparently it was a drug deal gone bad. He was found in an empty apartment feet and arms tied behind his back. He was shot in the back of the head at close range by a .357 Magnum. He was dead for awhile before they found him.

Tony DeSherlia

The holiday season took an ironic and tragic twist for Redondo Beach resident Tony DeSherlia, 25. He was shot and killed at the Torrance watch shop where he had worked since shortly after graduating from Mira Costa in 1993. DeSherlia had befriended the alleged killer, and former co-worker, Arnoldo Castellon Plascencia, 34, even inviting him to stay in his home when the Mexican national needed a place to stay. On Tuesday, December 19, Plascencia returned to Timex Sales and Service and allegedly shot both DeSherila and store owner John Redfearn. Plascencia is still at large. Redfearn is being treated at an undisclosed hospital. Friends said DeSherlia’s characteristic kindness may have left him vulnerable to the attack

Teresa Sievers - doctor in Bonita Springs, FL.  Her husband hired a guy to kill her with a hammer.  She was a good doctor and friend.  Hope they both fry.

Yep.  Knew a nice couple, spent a lot of time with them. He was a nice guy, she was very friendly.  But they seemed to hate each other. Constantly fighting. They had a small child.  We kind of drifted apart.

He strangled her, put her body in a drum and dumped it on the side of the road out in the boonies.

eta Thirty years ago.  I wonder if he's out of San Quentin yet?

Aunt was murdered.... Possible rumors of an affair, and when she wouldn't leave her husband for the other guy, he killed her, then when the police went to find him. The guy killed himself.  Her body was found in the lake, she was missing for about a week, and car was found at a local mall, which brought about suspicion.
