the presence of a gun does not constitute a crime. - Justice John Roberts.

They already do harass people there... View Quote Not quite as much as they used to. They got their pee-pee slapped a couple of times, but they'll keep trying. Unfortunately, most of the population of this state is liberal enough or stupid enough to believe that only police should have guns. (just like Haiti, and other such garden spots) |

The bill would remove the requirement that the officer base the request on that officer's reasonable suspicion of a crime
View Quote That's retarded. |

View Quote no, but its enough for the police to demand to see a pistol permit, ( probably in that state) theres ALWAYS a crime.. if you have enough laws. if they cant get you for what they want, they can always get you with some bullshit . get loud = disturbing the peace sitting in a parking lot= loitering/ trespassing too many bullets in the gun? no permit? that's a crime, just by having the gun etc, etc, etc, |

As a Police Officer I believe in Constitutional Carry open or concealed. Firearms are apart of my life style always have been always will be. People in general freak out when they see someone carrying. A lot of it has to do with the media and politicians saying guns are bad. Those type of people are idiots. Guns are a tool will save a life and feed a family. How a individual uses the weapon is what makes it bad or good.

Those are just the bad policemen, not the second amendment loving people who flock to employment as ban state cops.

A style of firearm used to commit less than 6.25 percent of all homicides committed through the misuse of firearms is made out to be the Devils rifle that no one needs. Media and politicians should be tarred and feathered together for the misrepresentation of facts for the sake of corrupted power. |

The only JBT type interaction I had with a cop was in Conn and his buddies chilled him the fuck out

Police shouldn't be allowed to lobby for or against any laws. There is an inherent conflict of interest involved which always seems to run in the direction of giving themselves more power and control over the lives of those they are supposed to be protecting. Of course, later they just say 'we're only enforcing the laws that the people enacted'

Sorry I got off topic earlier. Whoever thinks carrying a firearm legally is enough to screw with them is in the wrong profession. Just my opinion. I have way more shit to deal with than a guy carrying concealed or open. Either way if your not breaking the law there are real criminals that need dealt with.

We should make a patch with a window to put you permit in. Then we can wear it around if we open carry so a cop can see it without needing to ask us. He can simply walk up and inspect the patch.

It's about the same as the neutered OC by permit, only in certain places, law passed here in Texas. Concessions for the "Big Law" crowd
made what should be Constitutional Carry into a political tool that gutless lawmakers can use to say they "Support the Second Amendment". |

Where is the CT detachment defending CT gun laws as "not that bad" in the thread earlier this week? Whatever you do don't post the pic of CT gun owners lining up to register - that pic should have a trigger warning on it.
