First car. A 1969 RS Camaro. Got it on May 14th of 2000 when I was 14, Had been trying to buy a car from the age of 12.

Daytona yellow with yellow houndstooth interior. 327ci and a th350, originally stick. Then a built 383 till it popped a few years later. Looked just like this but not a Z28.

Currently stripped apart for restoration. Hasn't moved it probably 6yrs.

Not this actual car, but same model & color scheme: vomit green with white top

Called it the Motley Cruiser

Could fit four guys into the trunk (plus beer), and get into a drive-in movie and only pay for one person
Torque monster with a peg-leg open differential, it would roast one tire for as long as you kept your foot in it

No actual pictures, but here's one that's similar.

1977 Dodge Aspen with the slant six. I paid $500 cash for it and drove it until my sister blew the head gasket on it while I was away at college. It was the same hideous light green color as this one:

2WD 1990 Ford F-150 XLT Custom Longbed in white w/ AM only radio and pleather bench seat....

Called it the "Metalli-Tank".

Back window had a huge Metallica vinyl sticker.

Transmission was toast. Fixed it, and drove it for years after that. Wish I had kept it.

have remained a MOPAR fiend ever since.

1983 Chevy Caprice Classic. My dad made me go to the bank and get a $1500 loan to buy it when I was 16.

Just like this, only without the horrible wire wheels. White vinyl roof and all.

Not mine, but looks like its twin. 1960 Chevy Impala. Mine had a 327 Corvette engine and 4 speed trans. Lowered with shaved emblems and wire wheels.
Wish I still had it.

1965 Chevy II Nova (actually my car in picture)

Straight 6 230

4 Door..

Paid an old lady in Pontiac (IL) 1,500 bucks for it. I earned the money working at the car wash when I was 15.

I wish I could have it back, had to sell it to cover college expenses.

ETA: Yes, I did that bondo job when I was 16

1966 Triumph Spitfire. I wouldn't even be able to get one leg in that thing today. Bought it from a guy who'd used it as a dirt track racer so it ran like a raped ape. Just needed cosmetic work. Keeping the dual SU carbs synched was a bitch but thankfully a neighbor up the street owned a foreign auto parts store. He showed me a lot of tricks to keep her running smooth and sold me parts at cost.

Not mine, but it looks exactly like it. 1992 Camaro. Bought it for $600 with a blown engine when I was 16. We rebuilt the engine and I drove it for a few months before getting a Chevy S-10 pickup.

So many memories.

Mine was BRG... sold it to a buddy when I needed something bigger. An ex-GF of his busted it up with a sledgehammer.
Never forgave him for letting that happen... that car did NOT deserve to go out that way.

Had one like yours, only black. Just like this one. With a little more rust. And hacksawed off exhaust and a glasspack in its place. And too large of a Holley carb with a bad power valve. And a slipping clutch. And a transmission that was rebuilt twice. I was hard on stuff.

Too dumb to know any better. Glad I grew out of that phase after I started working on all my own shit.

Second car was an 87 conquest. I learned even more about wrenching with that damn thing. Head gaskets, broken jet valve, ugh. Fun car, but garbage it was.

1986 Light blue Mercury Sable. Jumped ditches well. Mine had different wheels and was an uglier blue.

2nd vehicle. I bought myself. I loved this truck. Mine was a regular cab and in blue.

This is a '69. Mine was a '72, blue in color and had white spoke wheels. Otherwise this is it. Had a 250 cubic inch 6-cylinder with 3-on-the-tree, manual steering and no power brakes. I wish I still owned it. Young and dumb...

1968 Mustang Sprint. This one is the same as the one I had except mine had different hubcaps (original) and no driving lights in the grille.
289 2V, C4 automatic.

Well, I technically had this for a first car (identical package, but mine was red):

I bought it when I was 16 from working many summers bailing hay, and it was perfect but had a blown motor. So, in the garage it went until I could save up and get a good Jegs motor for it. Took 2 years.

In the meantime, my first functional car was a 1978 Toyota Celica hatchback like this...

Very sporty, did 0-60 in about 60. lol

That motherfucking turd of Japanese design was uncharacteristically buggy...died about every other time you turned left, so any left hand turn was best accomplished by 3 rights.
