IM sent.

What you need to be worried about is the right breed for you. You are the one that has to live with the dog, and any pup is going to attract the attention of the ladies.

This. My labby got me more attention from wimmenz than I ever could have by myself.

A good lab does not smell like dog and is super friendly albeit well behaved (most of the time).

You want an empty leash at the dog park and a story about how much you miss your buddy.

I have a bluetick coonhound.  Now this isn't a breed of dog you would expect to be a chick magnet, but she absolutely is just that.  Women love her ears and go nuts over her, kissing her and playing with her ears.

I think it's all due to the Disney movie, Fox and the Hound.  lol

My brother has one.

These little turds pull the ladies like you wouldn't believe, especially the brown one.

Told my girlfriend if she ever dumps me, I am keeping the dog.

Had a hippie chick once say that my GSD was a fascist dog (as though a dog could hold a political ideology). So, I guess it depends on what type of chick you're wanting to attract.

She work at the local University Office of Sustainability and spends all her time concerned with carbon offsets and recycling though.  Chick was a vegetarian so enough said right?

If you want a chick magnet, I'll give you something better than any dog or puppy you can buy....find you a baby goat and walk that little bastard around on a leash....every woman I've spoken to since I started dating again has gone apeshit over the baby goats on my place.

I don't get the "small dogs = lady magnet" theory.

My GSD and Malamute get more attention than any of the little bitch dogs from ladies at the dog park.

Hell, I once told my wife that my plan if she leaves me is to buy a Malamute puppy and walk it in front of a nursing school.

Show any girl this picture and watch their hearts melt:

Every time I bring my Malamute anywhere I get stopped by people. I have never once brought him somewhere with out someone asking me what kind of dog he is and if they can pet him.

They do get big though

Forget the dog.  Women seem to love a guy with a child.  The younger the better.  Go a niece or nephew you can take to a park, zoo, or anywhere.

Right.

Have a beard, be manly, but show yourself with a child being "tender" and you will easily get women at least two grades better than you ever expected. If typically you get a 7 you'll easily pull 9's.

Alright hive, I'm considering getting another pup. My last was an oversized cocker spaniel but my old man backed over him a lil over a year ago I still miss my buddy but would like another.

So what do yall suggest? By the time I get the little fella, I'll be living off campus in Lubbock so a large breed probably wouldn't be the best choice...  (not much space) plus above all, he's gotta be a chick magnet

I was talking about it with the hopeful future lady-friend and when I mentioned a corgie, she absolutely became the girliest I've ever seen her lol

So would a corgie be a decent choice?  Or is that not manly enough and cause the man card to be revoked?

I'm not going to suggest a Wirehair for you, but I like to refer to this guy as "Canis Pantius Dropperus". It seems his coloration, which is pretty unique for Wirehairs, and size (98-lbs) get the most attention. Also, he's a huge goofball, and that has gotten more than one woman's attention at the park.

French Bulldog. When I walk mine chicks are ALL over them. Seriously, they are just cool enough to be "manly" but total chick bait if you have to walk them around in an urban area. On top of that they are awesome dogs.

just remember, if you get a french bulldog, they have one of the higher vet bill lifetime expenses of any dog.  Friend has one, and that thing is always at the damn vet for something.

If you want a more robust dog, go with a spitz, and not a GSD unless you get one from a GOOD BREEDER with KNOWN BLOODLINES.

Your friend didn't buy a legit one from a breeder then. I and the wife have two and we go to the vet maybe once every two years and while I live in this hellhole NYC I make it a point to take them for a walk on Saturday nights just so I can see the drunk chicks literally fall down to pet them and coo how cute they are. I really wish I had discovered this breed of dog before I met the woman because they make life REALLY easy in the meeting hot chicks dept.

This. Almost every time a woman is arrested for sex with a dog it is nearly always a pitbull. Then again I guess a pitbull isn't a very good wingman if he steals dates from you.

My brother has a miniature pinscher, and he has no troubles.  The dog is low maintenance, fun and lures women to talk to him.  I took that little guy for a walk the last time I was home and even I was approached by some ladies.

I had an Aussie shepherd before I moved to Oregon.  He wasn't the quickest lure to get attention,  but he sure helped get repeat dates.  I don't blame him entirely for the first part though... That's kind of my fault a little.
