"why aren't they noticing the damn cans hung at eye level? why are they fucking around instead of scouting the area? why haven't they planned an escape route"

I think Morgan's Ninja skills actually made some sense. They explained how Michonne learned to use a sword in that it was just her and the walkers all day everyday. Same thing for Morgan he's been moving alone through the same ground Rick and company have been covering. He would have had a lot of practice swinging that stick.
Like SilentType said Morgan wasn't all that different from the Wolves when we last saw him. He was robbing who ever came into his area and it would be safe to assume he killed a few. I think his "every life is precocious" line was the theme of the show. It seemed to tie in to Glenn not killing Nicholas and to Father Gabriel's suicide attempt. Nicholas has at least one kid and possibly a wife. That complicates things for Glenn. He wants to stay at ASZ, if he kills Nicholas then he will be living side by side with a kid who's father he killed. Kinda awkward. Father Gabriel was going to feed himself to a walker with a noose around it's neck. A guy who hung himself came back as a walker and was feeding on a live human being when Gabriel walked up. I was imagining that they would be building a harem and choosing those who would add to the strength of the group. They didn't question Morgan at all. They just set out to kill him. What if he were a surgeon, doctor, mechanic, engineer, machinist, electrician, plumber, k9 trainer, former mil., etc.? They would never know. |

So I rewatched it hoping I'd like the finale, maybe I missed something... Nope, still disappointing. Wow, he killed a guy he should have a long time ago... And it took 90 minutes to get there... Great.
I thought it was easily one of the best episodes. I've had lots of people tell me the same and I just don't see it. I just don't see what was so great about it. |

OK, I went back and rewatched the finale. There are a few beats that are virtually 1:1 to the comics. Yes they took the story in a different direction, but a few of the scenes were virtually identical.
And am I the only one who got this vibe from Deeeeeeeana?
