Did anyone else think it was retarded that the wolves carved a W on themselves? For all the dramatic buildup, the "Wolves" seemed to be duds. I can see why they were not a threat to the sheep of the ASZ. Also explain to me how Rick doesn't get infected by a walker head exploding blood and brains into his face and mouth. Oh, good grief! Because he (and everyone else) is already infected. Get with the program. Emergency lighting and alarm. Spot light at central watch tower location that can scan interior for movement. FREAKING radios. Stop having people go for nature walks on their own. Start requiring a quarantine process for all those who re-enter. Maintain at least small arms on every individual (think Swiss Militia). Barbed wire along tops of walls. Diversion fireworks and small base manned by quick reaction squad that can respond to attack, divert zombies from main settlement, and run recon. Put people on rotation. Improve construction site security. Anti-vehicle barriers and BETTER vehicles. Their vehicles suck. Commercial Drones with Go-Pro's would be very helpful even with limited 20 minute flight time. I think Morgan's Ninja skills actually made some sense. They explained how Michonne learned to use a sword in that it was just her and the walkers all day everyday. Same thing for Morgan he's been moving alone through the same ground Rick and company have been covering. He would have had a lot of practice swinging that stick.
Like SilentType said Morgan wasn't all that different from the Wolves when we last saw him. He was robbing who ever came into his area and it would be safe to assume he killed a few. I think his "every life is precocious" line was the theme of the show. It seemed to tie in to Glenn not killing Nicholas and to Father Gabriel's suicide attempt. Nicholas has at least one kid and possibly a wife. That complicates things for Glenn. He wants to stay at ASZ, if he kills Nicholas then he will be living side by side with a kid who's father he killed. Kinda awkward. Father Gabriel was going to feed himself to a walker with a noose around it's neck. A guy who hung himself came back as a walker and was feeding on a live human being when Gabriel walked up. That suicide cost another person their life and almost killed Gabriel. What I didn't understand was what the wolves gain by trapping people? Seems pretty elaborate for what they are getting. Some of the time people trip the trap they are just going to get killed by walkers. If Morgan didn't come along all they would have gotten for their trouble is two men in car and one still has a revolver. Not seeing the upside. |

View Quote >insert some stupid cliché saying about some men wanting to watch the world burn< It is pretty retarded. I was hoping the wolves would be better. The two, who confronted Morgan, didn't have a gun (though the "stay still" thing was clever). As you mentioned, their traps wouldn't gain them much--supplies at most, but there would also be a mess of either eaten survivors or dead zombies. And, their kill everyone mentality is pretty stupid. I was imagining that they would be building a harem and choosing those who would add to the strength of the group. They didn't question Morgan at all. They just set out to kill him. What if he were a surgeon, doctor, mechanic, engineer, machinist, electrician, plumber, k9 trainer, former mil., etc.? They would never know. |
