I don't drink much beer these days. Mostly wine and likker I visited a nearby brewery that makes not that awesome beer and that's the last only beer I've had in the last month or so. For the Ravens game on Sunday I'll probably pick up some Omission (GF) ive been doing paleo on and off for a while and ive never been able to cut out beer entirely. Never heard of GF? who are they? GF = gluten free. http://omissionbeer.com/ Their IPA is decent. gotcha, we have a company here that does gluten free beer called Burning Brothers. Havent had any of their beer yet, might have to try some this weekend |

How's business been? Couldn't tell you, been too busy with my real job. And fighting off the demons. Hoping to finally meet the husband of one of my wife's friends that works for a ammo wholesaler. Would really like to get into the industry, but have some pretty substantial salary needs. |

Would really like to get into the industry, but have some pretty substantial salary needs. Yeah, that's usually the problem. Yep. As much as my current gig is tweaking me out, when I start looking at other jobs either they can't compare with the $$$ I actually bring home once my expense check is factored in, OR the restriction on my day to day freedom and being able to help with the kids comes into play. I had a job opportunity last year going to sell for one of my current customers. Dude they hired has made about 2x my salary this summer. But he works 12 hour days, 6 days a week. |

Meh. Work has me down at the moment, but at least I have a job. Got to get myself motivated to keep getting in better shape. Still have a 100K bike race and CWE coming up before I can really slack off for a bit. How are you doing? |

Got to prepare for CWW and also don't want to look like a fat fuck for my 40th birthday. |

Riding he bike, runtastic pps for push ups, sit ups, squats, and pull ups have really helped, and myfitnesspal for tracking what I eat and my weight. Keeps me motivated and snacking in check. |

So I stopped at a new local doughnut shop for a cup of coffee. Every time I go to take a drink I can taste doughnuts

How tall are you? I don't think I've been under 180 since basic training. I got lucky and got under 195 two years ago. Now I'm stuck at 210. 5' 11" I was about 155 when I joined, and once I really got into shape I stayed between 169 and 172 the entore time I was in. I was 175 when I got married. I THINK I was around 180 for my 10 year HS reunion in 2002, and doubt I have been below it since. I was riding a lot and got down to 182 in 2007 when we bought our house, and then quit doing much of anything exercise wise. Hit 206 in Jan 2013, and decided that enough was enough. Started riding again. Started watchng what I was eating but didn't really start to make the weight disappear until I started tracking what I was eating with an app and keeping the calories down. |

Duckski is sitting pretty at 189. Down from 212 at the start of this push, from 230 since starting the paleo adventure, and from an all-time high of 265. |
