Always have. I am way more competent with breaking down and analyzing information and forming a project or paper on it to prove my understanding of it. Part of it is me and part of it is a lack of commitment to teaching on the other end. This percentage is different for each training course, and changes over time depending on the needs of the .mil. If a person were to wash out, it is not because of a nefarious scheme on the part of contractors. In fact, it is a way to get rid of "ineptitude" by theoretically removing the weakest links before they get to a unit. There is a difference between contractors and federal employees, and there would not be an uncertified teacher there. Your plumber would have had to have passed the competency requirements in order to teach. |

Learning electronics in this format is going to be a major struggle for me. Some people just soak this shit up like a sponge somehow. I'm just using here as an outlet to unhinge my frustration, so don't take it too far to heart. When I face the music it's all on me and not on the instructors.
