Yeah, few years ago at Wendy's I was in line behind two fat chicks who were talking about how good the baconator looked. when one of the employees, who's "gifted" ran up to congratulate them on thier unborn baby's. Got really quiet in there.

Goddamn it was hard not to laugh, especially when they both orderd salads.

We had a "gifted" bagger who would announce "Congratulations!" really loudly if there was half a chance that belly had a baby in it. Usually they were pregnant... but now and then....

I would be willing to bet over 50% of adult males are guilty of doing the same thing. When I was a young adult I made the mistake of asking, "When are you due?", and I learned to NEVER comment on a pregnancy. NEVER. She can be in full contractions, and the baby's head is poking out, still you NEVER ask the woman if she is pregnant. NEVER

However after the baby is born and the womenfolk start talking about the new baby I ALWAYS ask them what they are going to do with the old one.

I will have to try and use that the next time.

Sounds like a good boot. I'd support that shop.

Parents who impose their shithead kids upon others should be dismissed until they teach little Timmy to behave.

You mean when a story is written solely from the point view of the mother of the child, the child is presented as a blameless angel?

When I was four I used to drop it in my pants.  No big deal, I'd just change my underwear and throw the dirty skivvies in the clothes bin.

My Dad found them one day while doing the laundry, and based on his temperament when he beat the tar out of confronted me about it, he probably found them while reaching in to take the clothes out.

when my son was three he asked why a big truck made a funny sound when it was backing up. I said it was to warn anyone who was behind the vehicle to be aware and alert. later the same day in the checkout line a plus sized female backed up with her cart and left the checkout line. my son told her the warning sound wasn't working when she backed up. about half the checkout line that heard it. some laughed for a moment, and a couple of others gave me a big stink eye. kid humor is priceless.

MONROE, CT (WFSB) -
Kids say the darndest things, but one local inquisitive 4-year-old boy asked a question that got him banned from a Monroe doughnut shop.

"We were screamed at in front of the door, ‘he's not allowed in here, he's rude'," said Rebecca Denham as she described her experience at the Doughnut Inn on Tuesday morning.

Denham said her son, Justin Otero, asked a woman at the doughnut shop if she had a baby in her belly.

Let me bring some sanity to this... my friend works there part time and I asked her about it as I assumed there had to be more to the story. There is,

This woman believes her son is a special snowflake that does not need any sort of discipline. He is a holy terror- runs around the store, bothers people, screams when he doesn't get his way, etc. My friend says the mom has been asked- for months- to corral the kid and stop disrupting the store. Her attitude has been no one tells her how to handle her kid and he has every right to run free and "express himself to his fullest". She has said she does not want to damage his free spirit.

The owner finally had it and told the mother and the kid to GTFO at which point the mother had a melt down. She started screaming she was going to sue them, she was going to the media, etc. She wasted no time by the way in going to the media.

My friend and the other employees are weathering the storm over this bitch and her unruly brood. Right now the mom is trying to milk her 15 minutes of fame trying to get onto as many shows, newspapers and radio shows as possible. The store is keeping it classy and simply not responding.

So it is PC bullshit on the mothers end. And my fathers gun store used to be in Monroe- it is a seething caldron of liberal angst, white hate, and PC to the max. They tried to close his store down numerous times over the years via zoning changes, trying to revise his taxes, even redrawing the surveyed plot to deny him an expansion (thankfully he had the original survey map and data from the 70s). Monroe is the suck.

Four year olds say silly things.  I would know.  Currently my four year old nephew has a fixation on the word "butthole."  As much as it's funny in the "kids say the darndest things category", we are trying very hard to get him to stop saying that.

Reading comprehension, my dear Watson.  My post is the opposite of that. Everyone else was jumping to the conclusion that the kid was wronged. I suggested an alternate explanation. Note the "perhaps" and "food for thought."

Are you a parent? Doesn't sound like it. Even very well-behaved kids ask questions. They are unfilitered by P.C. Any adult who gets worked up by a question like this from a 4yo needs counseling.

Being from CT its not hard to see the kids a multiple offender.
His mom though cute is the enabler.
Its clear the kid has parents who don't set boundaries.
It's quite common up here to let your kids 'explore and be themselves"
which translates to I let my angel do whatever he wants with no regard for others.
For the mom to call the news over such a silly thing shows you all you need to know about
her and her disrespectful offspring.
Poor kid will grow up to be an adult version of what he is now.
