ANNOUNCING A NEW J&G POLICY ON SHIPPING RESTRICTED ITEMS
For immediate release: As state and local jurisdictions are increasingly passing laws which infringe upon the Second Amendment of the US Constitution, J&G Sales is implementing a new policy on shipping restricted items to these states and localities. Effective immediately, laws that restrict firearms, ammunition, or magazine possession by law abiding citizens will also be applied to state and local law enforcement and government agencies in that jurisdiction. All residents will be treated equally. Honorable citizens, law enforcement personnel, and government agents, should all be allowed to utilize the most effective defensive equipment available. J&G believes that there should not be a difference between the rights of citizens and those of government employees. This new policy will also help us to be sure we avoid the consequences of not conforming with the anti-firearm regulations in these various jurisdictions. We expect to lose some revenue from government purchases, however we feel it is essential to defend the US Constitution by making a statement about the importance of the Second Amendment in maintaining our freedoms. We await the day when all law abiding citizens will be able to possess the most effective means and tools available for self-defense regardless of where they live or for whom they work. One Source Tactical just issued a similar statement.
I think the dam is getting closer to breaking. |
|
Quoted: I knew I liked them for a reason I've spent a fair amount with them and will continue to do so (well... with whatever I'm "allowed" to buy, anyway). |
|
Cripes! It's getting hard to keep track of all these companies!
We need just one big one; Remington, Colt, Glock, S&W. Just one.... I'd also love it if the ammo companies began selling only to civilians. That's trickier, of course... |
|
Added to my list of folks I will purchase from. Good on them Bob |

I don't expect any of the bigger (Rem, Colt, Glock, S&W) will join the party though. Most of those have a chunk of their sales coming from Leo/.mil/govt contracts. |

I've bought from them and I'm really happy now I did. They always had great service and prices and they obviously have good hearts too. Thanks J&G

I know it is a pipe dream, but I would like to see a full page add in the newspaper of each state capital that is restricting rights......
FUCK YOU ! Signed, The founding Fathers and their quotes/statements regarding the second amendment. The Supreme Court with their rulings as to the RKBA (the vendors who have drawn a line in the sand) and All freedom loving people everywhere. I know...it's stupid and it will never happen, but it would be fun. |

Outstanding

Right on.
I'd go buy something right now from all the manufacturers & distributors that have signed on, but everything I need is out of stock. |
|
Damn! If only I hadnt already made a large purchase of surplus x54R from them id order some more.

All it takes is for enough companies to make the switch and for public opinion and support to go with them. Right now the pendulum hasn't swung fully our way, but it is starting to move. The large companies will go where the money is, and if cutting off NY or other ban states ingratiates you with more customers than you lose it makes sense. |

Just got their email newsletter announcing it. Good on them.

J&G is a good outfit. I've spent a lot of money there.
I think I'm going to go spend some more. |

Good on them.
All anyone, including LE needs is a double barrel shotgun, anyway. |

I read that to mean that all citizens will be treated the same, therefore all citizens would be held to the most stringent restrictions. No more multi-class system. |

J & G is a good company! Just purchased a Gemtech supressor from them. Class Act all the way!!!!
|
|
Remind me again, they are a DISTRIBUTOR, right...that would seem to carry more weight than any single producer of "stuff", well except maybe Glock or one of the Big Ammo companies.
|
|
As consumers we need to make it a habit to ask about these policies from all vendors before we make a purchase. I am (as soon as anybody has anything in stock to sell )
