I will now make sure and check J&G Sales every time I need to buy something gun related. I am only giving my business to companies that take this same approach.

I've always had good results with J&G..this helps tilt the scale in their favor when I'm looking for ammo.

ANNOUNCING A NEW J&G POLICY ON SHIPPING RESTRICTED ITEMS For immediate release: As state and local jurisdictions are increasingly passing laws which infringe upon the Second Amendment of the US Constitution, J&G Sales is implementing a new policy on shipping restricted items to these states and localities. Effective immediately, laws that restrict firearms, ammunition, or magazine possession by law abiding citizens will also be applied to state and local law enforcement and government agencies in that jurisdiction. All residents will be treated equally. Honorable citizens, law enforcement personnel, and government agents, should all be allowed to utilize the most effective defensive equipment available. J&G believes that there should not be a difference between the rights of citizens and those of government employees. This new policy will also help us to be sure we avoid the consequences of not conforming with the anti-firearm regulations in these various jurisdictions. We expect to lose some revenue from government purchases, however we feel it is essential to defend the US Constitution by making a statement about the importance of the Second Amendment in maintaining our freedoms. We await the day when all law abiding citizens will be able to possess the most effective means and tools available for self-defense regardless of where they live or for whom they work. Thank you Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile The statement in green does not say they will not sell to individual officers. The statement in blue doesn't clarify either. The part in red does. |

I read that to mean that all citizens will be treated the same, therefore all citizens would be held to the most stringent restrictions. No more multi-class system. I could get that from it but I would like them to clarify. |

Excellent. I need to spend money with each of the companies saying this.
What other companies are taking this stance? I know LaRue and Oly... who else has joined? |

It still doesn't directly say they will not sell to individual LEOs in a ban state. Though the message really does sound like its leaning that way. |

I purchased an upper from them several years ago. Never shot it. I may have to put it in a lower and shoot a mag full...
Went to their website, like I have all of the others and nothing I want/need is in stock I'll toss some money their way another day

This is good, the more companies that stand up, the more of a squeeze it will put on the ban states economy and law enforcement.

Thank you J&G, this type of thing means a lot to us. You will have my continuing support.

Is it safe to assume that the "you retards, fighting each other doesn't do anything" comments will become less & less frequent as this movement builds?
That means if they ship a 30 round mag to Ca LE that it will have to be disassembled and shipped as a parts replacement kit. You can own one in Ca. to use in out of state training or out of state shooting. It has to be in pieces when in state. just sayin I like the stance LaRue and the others are taking. But I do respect their move.

There are only consequences for sending stuff to non-LEO in those areas. There is no legal consequence for shipping or selling something to a LEO by those anti gun policies/laws. |

Awesome
I know a lot of people and orgs get their mags from.J&G. |

We need just one big one; Remington, Colt, Glock, S&W. Just one.... ... Never gonna happen, but it is a nice thought I don't know; anyone with 1/2 a brain can see this is an existential fight for them. If the Dems get their way, there will be one, maybe a handful of companies squabbling over occasional politically driven contracts for better "civilian-shooters". See "the UK". |

good to here, dare you got get GT Distributors on board (got my initials messed up - GT would be a huge supprise - as they are a police supply house in the peoples city of Austin.
Good grief - do we need to get Nolo or Aimless to come in here and settle this?
Red text, blue text, green text, bold text... |

This is fantastic news, I was really hoping they would do this early. My support of Double Star is reaffirmed today. Thanks.

Makes me want to call up and order something. They are selling Chinese Mosin Nagant rifle copies I think I need to buy. |

I don't think Colt or Glock or Remington will ever "jump on board" its not in their DNA period --I cant believe Remington and the rest still manufacture in the NE area.
For many of these companies I would think it would be better if they took the tack that --if its banned in your state --its banned. We are not gonna jump through hoops to find out what's legal for whom. If 30 round mags are a no go in NY so be it- We are not going to pick and choose who we can and cannot ship to. If individual officers and depts find a way around that --oh well. Look at CA if I ship a guy a 30round mag with the gun he bought --CA DOJ can possibly come back at me. Why should JG sales or anyone else deal with that ?
Good on them. Happy to have them on our side.
I would love to see either Remington jump ship from NY or Beretta to walk out of Maryland to make a BIG statement. I'm surprised how much traction we've gained. |
I hope Brownells and Midway follow suit on magazines and such...
AWESOME! And THANK YOU to the companies that are supporting our rights in this way.
Somebody needs to start a list of companies that are doing this.....that way we can direct sales to them..
I've spent quite a bit of money at J&G. Apparently I'll be spending quite a bit more.
I'd settle for one of the big ammo manufactures voiding current and turning down future orders from DHS and the Feds. That'd make me smile. Guy can dream right?
Right the fuck on. Long time J&G customer here, and glad to see they won't stand for this bullshit.
ETA: Also, they have that kid that works in there that reminds me of my brother-in-law when he was a youngin'. He knows his shit, and is very professional...but, I just wanna squeeze his cheeks!! |
Maybe a tacked thread on who is doing what with regards to this movement would be beneficial..

I don't see why they don't - it's not like the hive wouldn't absorb the excess inventory in record time. I'm pretty sure ARF members could handle the billion+ rounds that DHS has on order... |
