I visited a school today and quickly noticed a large amount of muslim girls. They wear the hijab yet they all have skin tight jeans on showing off their legs/ass. Confusion

It was always great to see the ones in Malaysia wearing short shorts and tight shirts and a head cover (they have more of a variety that they wear).

Mom, Dad, and their Imam only really care that they've got their hair covered. They may be from a Muslim family, but they're still American teenaged girls, no matter what you do.

The biggest problem with Persian girls is Persian guys. I had one that went to college with me who was full on Alabama Snack Bar but she used to follow me around like I was wearing humusk. Should have smashed it because what I could see of her was beautiful.

Most of my neighbors are Muslims from Yemen and Bangladesh. After a couple generations, they all seem to assimilate into American society. The girls are wearing hijab and regular western clothes. Their children will skip the hijab more than likely, and their granddaughters will likely only be vaguely aware of the practice. I've seen more drunk Muslims in Hamtramck than I can count; they have no problems assimilating.

There's a fairly famous book called, "Reading Lolita in Tehran" that tells the story of many women during the Iranian revolution wearing provocative underwear under their burka. It was a personal protest, since they had little to no power.

I can't see the pic.
School I went to had a lot of muzzies, and I observed a similar thing there. I thought of it in a positive way: they're becoming westernized. Once they leave their parent's home, they might shed all of the religious garb. |
