Of course he would say that. HE didn't direct it. Me thinks; |

the worse is his stupid ass prequels with JarJar binks. QFT. I never watched any of the newer ones after I saw that Jar Jar shit. |

I saw a picture of him wearing a Han shot first shirt once on Wikipedia. It's funny how he's wearing a shirt that basically says he's a fuckup for what he's done to the Star Wars movies.

Was one of the best. Obviously, the original kicks ass but the attack on hoth was epic. I can still see those AT-ATs and my hearts beats fast.
|
|
[#8]
Why doesn't he just STFU and die already...before he fucks anything else up.
|
|
[#9]
I'll bet he believes The Crystal Skull is the best Indy movie also
|
|
[#10]
Only thing I didn't like is that it really didn't introduce a plot and resolve it. It feels like a movie fragment.
|
|
[#11]
How in the fuck did he actually produce anything good out of 4, 5, and 6? The man is obviously a grade A retard.

No Episodes I, II and III were the worst Star Wars movies.
Episodes IV, V, and VI were all great. |

star wars as a film designed by a guy more interested in things than characters, designed for pre pubescent teens ripping off b movie themes with shoddy plots.
first time i heard a spacecraft in the vacuum of space make a sound like an nazi stuka dive bomber it was a big wtf. lucas's best movie was amerikan graffiti. star wars was perhaps the slickest b-movie series ever made. |

George Lucas is an unstoppable force of destruction
Not only did he completely fuck up episodes 1, 2 and 3, he went back and fucked with 4, 5 and 6. What is wrong with him? Gone completely psycho? An agent of an enemy government? |

George Lucas is full of shit. He's surrounded himself with so many sycophants that he can no longer tell good work from bad. He single handedly ruined his own franchise with the prequels.

I'm still not a fan of the Degobah sequences with Yoda. With his wisdom and training? Are you crazy? That is the whole point of the movies- that the force is only as powerful as your belief in yourself. |

At this point, he's just fucking with us.
Lucas= ultimate troll |

Star Wars movies in order from best to worst:
Star Wars: A New Hope Part IV (I'll give Lucas this one) Empire Strikes Back Part V Return of the Jedi Part VI Revenge of the Sith Part III Attack of the Clones Part II The Phantom Menace Part I Also, the great Empire didn't seem to last too long, since it only spanned two generations (from Anakin to Luke) |

I recall back in the 1980s, after the release of the ROTJ, the ESB was often regarded as the worst of the three during friendly conversation.
Now it's regarded as the best of the three. Go figure. |

Go figure. That's because we were all 12 years old. Through the lens of history, I think it's more clear that ESB was a well-directed movie that gets a lot of things right where Lucas' direction is clumsy and acts against his own narrative. |
|
[#42]
I was disappointed in the new movies, but Lucas is no idiot.
Jar Jar Binks, Ewoks, etc = merchandising for kids ESB was the least kid-friendly movie of the bunch |
|
[#43]
Yeah, and Red Tails is awesome and no one wanted to make it because Hollywood is racist.
Honestly, the best thing about the prequels are the Red Letter Media reviews. Who wants a pizza roll? |

breezy and effortless storytelling. writing that was not horrible. nuanced direction. emotionally engaging.
it was the opposite of a george lucas film. |

His prequel films and his constant need to edit the original films have made the entire series and unwatchable mess... and this is coming from someone who the only movies he watched when he was kid was the Trilogy or the Ewok movies. (YES THATS HOW I ROLL CARAVAN OF COURAGE REPRESENT!!)
