What's stopping the cartels from sending 50+ guys to each of these photo ops and taking their stuff right back?

While I think the media are a bunch of (Bleep)-ing idiots when it comes to the "illegal US guns" thing, those Draco AK's where are they getting those?

I like how all of the AR/M16 style rifles are on fire. Mine is currently on 'fire' as well, mag in not chambered, so? I hate to say it but some of those are surely USA procured, like the new series Mini-14 and that ban type Bushmaster carbine w/ A2 stock |

Why would the Mexican drug cartels, which last year grossed between $17 billion and $38 billion, bother buying single-shot rifles, and force thousands of unknown "straw" buyers in the U.S. through a government background check, when they can buy boatloads of fully automatic M-16s and assault rifles from China, Israel or South Africa? Okay now, you just take that logic nonsense and get out of here. |

I want a Ma Deuce. Join the mexican army and still one just like the narco's do. Does the lot number on that grenade indicate the company that made it? Come to think of it, I wonder what it's like to work in a grenade factory? Does somebody get to test random samples for QC? |

http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h222/linedoggie/elcombatealnarcoestaarr.jpg I'm sure all of those AK suppressors came from gun shows! Those are genuine Russian PBS-1 suppressors. |

Wanna see ALL of that stuff disappear?
I don't mean "confiscated"...I mean GONE, period. Take the money out of the game and the game will disappear too. Quit using good officers as glorified tax-collectors, and bullet magnets. |
|
I will take one of those short AKs, a case of the frag grenades, the AUG, and the MP5 with the UTG handguards and rail covers.
Oh yeah...and the Red Ryder. And the $35k on the table. |
|
Damn All Texas / Arizona 's fault, all we need is onother AWB and all this will just "Pffff!" go away in a puf of pixi dust
Any can you please call me when one of those 'Claymore mine /Frags 'O'plenty ' shows is being held, I need to get one before they close the Claymore show loophole |

Some of the G-3 type rifles definitely have clipped/pinned lowers, as well as some of the AK's have the flap
that blocks the control lever indicating semi-only. Yes some of these rifles were smuggled into Mexico from the U.S. but if that all stopped overnight not much would change as you can see... the big cartels have international connections. |
|
LOL, mexican LE loves to show off thier seizures. I noticed in one photo the ak rifles were really spread out to make pile look much larger.
|
|
Some of us should go down there and "Borrow" some of those cartel assholes shit and cash.
|

Quoted: http://img826.imageshack.us/img826/3273/dsc04383a.jpg Beowulf .50 in the upper left hand corner. I noticed that myself... Damn, I should move to mexico and become a cartel boss - just think, you could have anything you want! |
|
Maybe they should adopt California state gun policies to encompass the dangerous problem areas of Mexico......California's strict gun laws would stop the cartels dead in their tracks.

I can never find those things. Does anyone ever wonder how much of the photo op hardware is "recycled" from other photo ops? |
|

And there are still dimwits that will believe that most of that stuff was bought at Russell Hardware in Del Rio.

It's a war down there, spilling over onto our side for years now
Something like 30K dead in just the last few years |
