What do they do with all that stuff?
There shoudl be a lottery for one lucky Arfcommer to win it all |

I know right? I used my last one on a stray dog in my trash last night. Guess I need to hit the next fun show! And the Mg34 was stolen from me. Wonder which authority I need to bribe down there to get it back? ETA: Is that lower one a Spikes Tactical made grenade launcher? |

Well, I guess I know where to go scouting for employees if I ever start a gun engraving business...

Clearly the right set of officials were not bribed. You're not looking at it right. Ask yourself this... why are they showing that off? They could very well be the bribed officials who looked the other eye on most stuff, and are just doing this to make it look like they're doing what they're supposed to be. It's all PR. |

I like how all of the AR/M16 style rifles are on fire. Mine is currently on 'fire' as well, mag in not chambered, so? I hate to say it but some of those are surely USA procured, like the new series Mini-14 and that ban type Bushmaster carbine w/ A2 stock Mine is too, but I would think that they would put them on safe when parading them around for the journalists... |

That is either a very early m16 model 601 or a civilian SP-1 rifle |

What is that rifle 2nd from left on bottom, Valmet? Daewoo? Saw one at a gun shop but forgot what it is. That is an Armalite AR-18 |

Mexican drug cartels always get the cool stuff.
I'm jealous. |

Did they catch them at the whorehouse with their pants down??
With that cache..A well trained infantry company would have a hard time with them if they didn't *want* to be captured. |

It depends on the shooters. Lots of mag fed rifles, not enough belt feds to compete with an infantry company. No optics, just irons, shooting poorly maintained weapons with poor quality ammunition. |

There were some sold to El Salvador IIRC in the 80s to one of their SF units. |

Obviously,a great, great deal of their hardware is coming from Asia,Africa and God knows where else but fact is that American gun owners do themselves a disservice by trying to insist that guns which quite obviously have come from the US don't exist.

What was with the shotgun stocks on the pimped out AK's? http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/1118/imagen463.jpg http://img829.imageshack.us/img829/6918/imagen466.jpg I think that the wood on the top one looks beautiful. The rest of the AK needs antiqued silver engraving though. The bayo needs to have the outside turned down to remove the checkering and engraved in the same pattern or have the bayo removed completely (preferable). Mag should be a Russian slabside with the same antiqued silver engraving. All small pins and parts should be fire blued. To finish it off there should be a finely worked leather sling a shade or two lighter than the wood with fire blued fittings and engraved and antiqued silver buckle so that when slung at the ready the silver buckle is prominently displayed on the back against the nice custom leather duster you are sure to be wearing. |

I wonder if some of the guns (that appear to be from the states) are unofficially bought from 'Importers'...and somehow reported or recorded "Lost" or "Stolen" en route to the united states....

A dog and pony show to illustrate that the State is doing something. I wonder how much of the same shit they trot out every month for show and tell. If Mexico weren't a corrupt shit hole to start with, the drug gangs would never have been able to infiltrate to the degree they have. Until someone stands up and cleans house, this is going to get worse and worse, culminating in an Afghanistan-style "intervention." |

Wanna see ALL of that stuff disappear? I don't mean "confiscated"...I mean GONE, period. Take the money out of the game and the game will disappear too. Quit using good officers as glorified tax-collectors, and bullet magnets. Yeah, because we all know that drug criminals will go straight when you legalize drugs. |

That Micro Galil looks like a South African police R6 rifle which is a shortend version of the R5 which is a shortend semi auto version of the R4 which is a South African Galil, all in 5.56., could be wrong though, I've been out of SA for about 15 years now.

Fairly certain I saw similar M2 machine guns sold in my gun store, next to the M79s and hand grenades.

What the hell is an Iraqi rifle doing in Mexico? That is not an SVD, but rather an a Al Kadesiah...Iraqi made. You can tell by the magazines palm tree type indentation. |

I think Spikes only made 37mm versions. In that case Jose must have been mighty pissed when he tried to load a 40mm in it. |

Just think, your fellow Americans are the cause of most of this.
Find the druggie nearest you and thank them. They are the ones paying for all this shit. Everyone else, including lawful American gun owners, are suffering because of it. |

I sifted through a lot of these photos and it appears that these guys don't employ very many quality pistols. I see some outright bad handguns like various .25acp jamomatics amongst a couple blinged out 1911s and the occasional S&W sigma. Maybe they spend all their money on the rifles or assume that they are so badass
they don't really need a backup? I don't know but it is weird since they supposedly have unfettered access to the american gun market. Also, I have noticed that they don't like optics or even iron sights. If they mount anything to their rifles, it is usually a bunch of flashlights, lasers, and sub $100 chinese made optics. Even the .50 caliber rifles lack optics which suggests that they are using them at very short ranges, large objects or they just don't care what they hit. Also, they seem to rely on less than great plinking ammo, crappy rusted magazines, and rifles lacking stocks. Based on these observations, a lot of these narcotrafficos have a mentality similar to a crip in that they love the big weapons but they lack the training to employ them effectively. |

Some nice stuff there.
May want to add "GRAPHIC" to the thread title with the new images on the 2nd page though. Body Armor didn't seem to help them. |
|
From the looks of some of these weapons, these guys mean business.

They need up armored SUV's .....they have everything else....
