I bought & proceeded to sharpen one of those same swords about a year ago. Damn near cut my index finger clean off doing it too. It was one of those WTF moments.

PM me the info on where to get a set of those please.

IIRC, they were inexpensive (read: cheap) closeouts from BudK. They were priced so well when I bought it I figured what the hell, what's to lose? While the blade itself is pretty decent & the cord wrapped handle is tight & very well done (especially considering the price), the sheath they come in is complete garbage.

ETA- Yep, they were from BudK. In fact it looks like they still have them for $12.99 a piece: Secret Agent Sword. I wouldn't pay more than a Jackson for it, but IMO, at 13 bux a piece they're a steal. WYSIWYG.

The spear is a Chinese Pu Dao or "Horse Cutter". It is similar to the Glaive used in Europe & the Naginata from Japan, which were used by infantry as an effective weapon against charging cavalry. They were very efficient & deadly in open areas, but pretty useless in close quarters.

There are a few martial arts retailers that sell similar items anywhere from $100-500 for your basic training/flash competition spears. Sakura & Wing Lam are a couple places you might want to give a try if you are interested. Quality battle ready/custom made spears, like any good weapon obviously cost $$$$$$.
