Not half as dizzying as this thread will probably get.  Too many dog foods, too many opinions, too many different dogs that prefer different foods.

IMO, not much you can do but experiment with a couple of the higher end brands with proper ingredient ratios.

Started my current pup on Blue Buffalo and it agrees with him in every way.  I prefer a grain free food and BB offers me good choices.

Good luck with your selection(s).  Remember, you can find positive and negative info on nearly any brand/type of food.  Your dog will let you know what is good for him.

I use Diamond Naturals from Atwoods or Amazon.

My vet was happy to hear that was my choice, FWIW.

I've gone through several different foods and settled on Orijen. Gave my lab a lot more energy on 10+ mile hunts.

Switched to Fromm Gold from Blue Buffalo Wilderness.

A lot of guys posted in this thread, and I personally found it pretty helpful.

If available I personally recommend Taste of the Wild. That's what I feed mine, mixed with egg and chicken scraps
