I don't give a flying shit about the scumbag's family or his childhood.  Lots of kids, unfortunately, grow up in foster homes without becoming a asshole.  If there is an afterlife, I hope he burns in hell.  Why does the news always want to share their "Lifes Story"?

Screw scumbag criminals - regardless of how many times they are incarcerated.  He took a good guy.  Glad that Hobbs got him. It is US vs. THEM.

Yes, I am angry.

It always has to be some scumbag who just got out of prison, who never should have been released.

Sad day.

My Father and Grand-Father were both police in some capacity. My dad was a deputy, patrolman, and finally a detective. I can't imagine how hard this would be. Prayers for the family of the officers involved.

This is a big loss.

Talked to a guy in the know.  Looks like John was hit, went down, and then returned fire striking the subject several times, possibly did kill him.  Don't know for sure.  He didn't fucking give up.

Godspeed Brother.

RIP Detective.  I'm sure you killed that scumbag.

He did!

R.I.P. Detective Hobbs.

This was a nice table set for Detective John Hobbs.  The letter reads:

"Table set for one symbolizes the absence of our beloved officer.

White tableware is symbolic of the purity of his intentions to

respond to the need in his community.

Single red rose signifies the blood that was shed in sacrifice for

                                                                                our safety and freedom.

Yellow ribbon represents the ribbons worn on the labels of

those who demand rememberance of their loved one.

Slice of lemon represents the bitter fate of his loss.

Salt sprinkled on the plate is symbolic of the countless fallen

                                                                              tears of family and friends.

Inverted glass is to represent the fact that the fallen cannot

                                                                                           partake.

Empty chair symbolizes the fallen that is not present.

Candle is reminiscent of the light of hope which lives in our

hearts to illuminate his way home."
