The ARF store has a build your own t-shirt option where you can get some pretty cool site related t-shirts custom made.
( the store is currently out of stock ) You can check out the build your own t-shirt thread HERE It is geared mostly towards the Home Town forums and somewhat the Zombie forum. I was thinking it might be cool to have them add a design or two for The Humidor. If there is enough intrest and we can find some artistic members to come up with a design or two (with help from the t-shirt guys) maybe they will add our designs. One of our threads, Guns N Gars comes to mind as a possible theme for a shirt. What better way to promote 2 of the things we love and are slowly sending us all to the poor house lol.

Someone has to have skills!!! I would be in to sponsor (as needed) and then in for a few to buy. We could do a basic "Humidor" -T and maybe a Troop Support -T as well.... Wait.....I did get a sticker a few weeks ago....the Zombie Humidor one....time to hit my archived inbox.... A zombie, smoking a cigar.....the bolt face in the background.....or like you said.....guns and gars.... ANYWAY...... Let's launch this for interest.... Reply to this thread to sign up. If we get a bunch, we can commission a run. If we don't, those that do will have a really cool conversation piece. |

I'm in.
I would love to see something simple... Like a crossed pipe and cigar behind a BFL I also like the Troop Support idea. Maybe something like a shield crest with a pipe and cigar quartered in the top quadrants and the lower half a BFL with Troop on top and Support on the bottom. I would do something like I did with my NYHTF shirt. Large logo for the humidor centered on front and the troop support logo on the top/center on back. |

BFL on left side of chest with a pipe and cigar. On the back huge out line of BFL with words over it saying Arfcom humidor we support our troops. Got to include Echo's sig line some where sleeve maybe

I have two students that work in my office that will be getting a new assignment when they get back from break!!! Both are graphic arts majors. And I contacted a buddy of mine that has a trophy/award shop...they do t-shirts for kids teams, fund raisers and stuff like that. If we come up with a design he can import, he will run some samples for me. After that, we can talk about the cost. It may be cheaper to submit the art to the ARFCOM store and have them screen them....we will have to see. Echo |

Suggestion. We co-opt the phrase uttered by Charleton Heston. The shirt has a skeleton hand holding a lit cigar in one hand and a AR15 in the other with wording that says "You Can Have My Cigars and Guns When You Pry Them From My Cold, Dead Hands"

Can you swap the lingo in the image?
Leave the cigar and the boltface on the band....but make it a bit smaller to fit inside the center completely. Put AR15... where "Home of the..." is...and in its place put "The Humidor" I like the lit cigar and the layout.....maybe this superimposed over a pipe to give us an "X" as we are just as much about pipe smokers as we are cigars... KEEP THEM COMING!!!! |

What size is that image? So far what I have been able to gather, the image needs to be really big...at least 1,000 pixels in one direction but even bigger is recommended. I will need a copy of that one no matter what!!! If it doesn't make the final, I am having it cut into a sticker!!! And maybe something else as well.... Echo |
