Welcome to the NEW Custom T-Shirt project!

Order information can be found below, along with the available designs and information on how things work. The goal of this project has always been to allow you options to mix and match designs (old and new) to create the shirt look you desire.

At this time the available designs will be limited to those below, although we have a number of additional designs nearing completion, including a number of hometown options. If your hometown forum would like to get involved, just contact us and we'll be glad to help out.

There are several Shirt Design options:

1) Front Of Shirt
a) Full size design
b) Left Breast design
c) Small design placed in the upper center of shirt (breast logo size)

2) Back Of Shirt
a) Full size design only
b) Small design placed in the upper center of shirt (2"x2" roughly)

Please keep in mind that you can select any of the logos for each area, thus allowing you a variety of shirt choices. As more designs become available, more possibilities open up.

Ordering Information:
T-Shirts now available!

Long Sleeve Shirts coming soon.

IMPORTANT: Make sure you double check your shirt order, so you know exactly what you are getting. These items are custom made and will take a few days to complete. Please allow 5 working days for the shirts to be made and then shipped out. (Our goal is to have them completed in 48 hours and shipped. If there are any delays past the 5 days, we will contact you via email.)

Additional shirt colors and designs will be added to the project as we move forward. This thread will hold all that information.

Available Designs

Note: Designs will be updated as quickly as we can, typically around the time they are made available for ordering. HTF projects may show up a few days later since the designs are created with each HTF group!

We will have them back up for ordering in roughly a month, but at that time all the designs will be done via DTG printing. This will allow us to continue to offer full color custom shirts, yet move away from heat based ink solutions. In short, the shirt designs will be screen print quality (without any strange feel), be much larger than what the previous limits were, and remove a lot of our design restrictions.

Our plan is to continue to offer (and grow) the selection of designs for customizing shirts to your liking. Many of the existing designs will be increased in size and we'll take photos of physical shirts with designs on them to better display the finished products.

I apologize for the quality not living up to everyone's expectations, but I hope to meet or exceed them with this change. Projects which are underway to create a design will continue, but will not be available for ordering. I hope you'll be patient with us as we make these changes.

Ya know, I'm glad you did that. I'm not one to bitch publicly too often, but man that old design was a wreck. The heavyweight shirt is amazing, but that sticker design thing, whatever it's called, was no bueno. I've worn it only 3 or 4 times since getting it and washed it that many and it was cracked after the first wash. I'm just happy you folks decided to go with another form of printing because this first idea was a failure. Mis dos centavos y don't ban me.

Eta, oh fer fucks sake, first post too?

Is it not possible to get the gas mask logo on the front breast? It just says large, which I assume would mean it would be huge across the middle.

We should be able to have an answer on the small mask option soon.

UPDATES
1) While we like the Zombie Response Team (and metal variation), it doesn't look as good on larger shirts because the design is so wide. We pulled it down and will alter the design to me more full. This just means it will be larger on shirts and thus give you more on shirts 2XL and larger. The design looks great, it just seems to leave too much open shirt under it and can be better.

2) We are moving up the timetable on the HTF logos and should start making some available tonight for ordering. The key for us was getting samples done and comfort level in expanding the available options. Things are going VERY well and exceeding our expectations so we will not only be adding these this week, but also adding a few additional designs and variations.

Remember this re-birth of the custom t-shirts is now done as full ink and no longer heat activated/transferred pigments. The print sizes are also much larger because we are no longer constrained by hard edges. We can pretty much print the entire shirt front and back and will potentially even create some "full shirt" designs. (Wrap around the entire shirt, versus traditional front/back limitations.) We wanted to improve things drastically and I think we managed to do just that.

Shoot...and I bought two of them that had the ZRT across it. (the big one, not metal)

I didn't know there'd be more right away...looks like another order will be going in. Of course...right after I put in a $100 t-shirt order.

Shirts look great with all the designs, but anytime we see something that can be improved, we'll move to tweak or redesign to improve it.

I wear an XL with the zombie response team metal on it and it looks perfect, the problem only exists in larger shirts which are longer. Having a wide design leaves too much empty vertical space.

No update on the gas mask today, hopefully tomorrow. Should get to some of the hometown logos as well.

Can I suggest something that actually says "AR15.com", or even better, "ARFCOM"? I'd really like that.

Good stuff, Goatboy.

Now, I am not a graphics person. I could send you a link to a mid90s website that I had my paws on, and you'd laff. But based on some of the avatars I've seen, we have some amazingly talented people around. How about a contest to design a T shirt or three, with the membership voting on which entries they like best. You'd get some out-of-the-box thinking, some good times and recognition for our artists, and maybe increased sales with designs many people have given the thumbs-up.

Those are coming- it's just a matter of getting everything listed on the store to let you order them.

Also coming-we just got the production system running, and wanted to get a few shirts out in time for Xmas, but rest assured a good number of internal designs as well as external designs from our members, home town groups, events, and all sorts of other venues are coming... in fact, we may hold a design comp for a cool SHOT show shirt... if anyone has any ideas, start up MS Paint!

We will definitely hold design competitions and polls to determine winners as soon as we crank out these orders.

Another update!

We took down the Black/White variations because of a small issue we had with the inks. (User error!) I added them back in along with options for small Gas Masks designs. We also added the AR15.Com Logo, which you can see above in the design lists.

Unfortunately we did not get those hometown forum logos ready for the holidays, but they will be available next week. We also will have our WaterMark Logo (BFL with the AR15.Com name across the middle) and a new design to replace the Zombie Response Team ovals. Those designs look great, but because of their limited height and extra width, we felt we could improve them to look nicer on larger shirts.

We will be adding other choices to the shirts such as Molon Labe text, US Flags, and other small items quickly. The larger designs will be put on hold until all the stuff mentioned above is ready to go.

Hopefully some of the early orders are arriving and people can post feedback. We'll make a large site announcement next week or the week after, once all the designs are set and new designs start to become available.

Got my first four of the new t-shirts. Great quality, guys! Looking forward to seeing how they hold up after several washes.

PS- just went to order another 4, but wondered...will the huge, faint square from printing go away after washing? Kinda annoying. I tried getting a picture, but it's tough. I'm sure you know what I mean. The 2'x2' square, front and back.

Long sleeves after the holidays.

The "square" is the area sprayed with a pre-treatment to ensure longer life for the prints. It's an extra step we take and should wash out immediately. If you have any issues with it showing after washing, let me know right away.

I spent the day working with the Black and White design variations, and they look awesome. I will add photos of the shirt/design variations with the designs above when I get some time.

You know what would be really awesome? I'll tell ya! A hooded sweatshirt that you can customize. I'd be all over that more so than the long sleeve shirts.

Eta, I could have sworn I've seen them before in the store. Am I wrong?

I'd totally buy a sweatshirt.

ETA- Any chance you could post of a sample of the color of the shirts? I know that they are pretty self descriptive but a picture might be nice.

We'll get more photos up soon, hopefully this week. I'll try to get shots of the shirt colors as well as the black/white variations.

We're planning to get more items to print on, so we'll loo at hoodies, tank tops, and more.

I had one other issue. I ordered my shirts in 4XL. Now I have to assume that the placement of the front breast logos were measured out on a smaller shirt. Well, this makes for a fairly awkward placement of the logo on larger sizes. It's kinda halfway between the breast and the center. Any way we could get them more proportionally correct for bigger folk?

Thanks.

I'm sorry for the mistake on the breast logos. We have made some adjustments to placement on larger shirts, but yours must have gone out before we got that done. If you'd like to email me a measurement of how much farther the breast logos should be, I can compare it to our template and get new shirts out to you asap.

I can't find a darn thing to measure with, but see if you can follow me here. My directions are as if you're looking at the shirt's front. I have, for example, the small ZRT round (red, white, and green). If you put the same logo to the right of it, but touching, and 45 degrees down, it should be about right.

Sorry...that's about the best I can do at the moment. Perhaps you have a picture of what you're doing?
