On my PC, after endless crashes at exfil, uninstalled HD2 and Steam. Reloaded everything all over and zero problems on seven Helldives in a row tonight.
Last mission of the evening, we got immediately dropped by gunships on initial landing which took us about ten minutes to finally take control and start clearing bases and do the mission. Ran out of time carrying the second hard drive, so just ran to exfil right as timer was expiring. We extracted 3/4 in the squad, with all six pinks, with special thanks to Pelican pilot Captain Frank.  |

Happy to see I was awarded the missing medals from the last two Major Orders upon logging in last night.
I haven't been playing much recently. I'm level 52 and still have a couple things to unlock. Probably going to hold off on getting the new Warbond that comes out next week until I have everything else unlocked. The only thing I really want from it is the grenade pistol. Crashing is maddening today. All I wanted to accomplish was to unlock Helldive. Ran impossible bot missions all day and every time I get 2/3 done, crash. Now same with termanids.

Dev’s are gonna be shocked how much faster planets get liberated when they fix the crash issue, if they do. Seems like 1/4 matches crash now.

On PC here. Me and a friend would group on my ship, then toggle the looking for SOS. IF (big if) we could both get on the same ship, and the loading/stratagem screen worked (about 30% fail rate), we would drop in and play just fine. Then about 75% of the time crash on exfil animation. Still get the rewards, but no longer able to see that pug group. With me playing lobby host, crashing goes down to about 33%. But we retain campaign status, so we can work through an entire set.
Supposed to be a patch this week to help stabilize the game. |

Never be afraid to run from the objective, circle back and do a bit of it at a time. Diving and sliding are essential. Third person aiming is better as you can watch your flanks even though you’ll be less accurate, I zoom only when I’m trying to head shot a heavy. Accuracy is more important on bots, speed is king on bugs. |

I downloaded Baldur's Gate 3 last night. I need something to play when I can't take the crashing any more. Hopefuly this gets fixed soon, but it's not like it wasn't a problem at all prior to the latest patch that made it worse.

Bug fix and a new warbond, bots are back, should be a fun week
That one new gun looks like a mini auto-cannon in some vids I've seen  One shotting Berserkers and Devestators.

Emp mortar will save your ass. On the defend missle missions, place one on the evac platform and another on the other side, and have something to shoot down drop ships. It will make the mission a breeze, i use the EAT. Pick off the leftovers. Also on the evac 45 civilians mission it will keep you from being over run. it was always useful to an extent especially on extract but now it really has a place. |
