Are the matches generated based on the average Battle Rating of your crewed airplanes?
Just on a whim I put my fully researched A-20 and added my other crews to the P-26 and other reserve aircraft. I'm now put in battles against weaker planes. |

In part, but if you have, say, four planes with a BR of 1.0, and one with a BR of 4.0 you won't be averaged out to 1.6---if one of your planes is more than 1.0 higher than the next highest BR, your BR for that match will be the same as for your top rated plane. So four planes at 1.0 and one at 4.0=your total BR for the match will be 4.0. Crew skills and your recent success or failures also get taken into effect. |

I haven't played in 6+ months and decide to try a few matches. 1st Match is a win, I get 2nd place with 9 kills. 2nd match is a win, I get 1st with 13 kills. 3rd match... We had a enemy player on a air dom match that camped the fighter spawn and got 33 kills (6 from me, all pilot kills) with one plane. I got 2 fighter kills, then switched to my trusty B-25 so I wouldn't get spawn sniped and scored 9 more because the rest of the enemy team really did suck that bad.
It's like battered spouse syndrome. I got a nice night out and something shiny, then the ever loving crap beat out of me. And I'll probably go back for more because Gajian said this would be the last time and they're sorry. |

Got back into the game after a short break. I'm really liking the Hs-129, with the 75mm gun. One-shot kills on tanks, compared to 2-3 with the Ju-87G.

Is there anyone in the clan on ps4 playing this on tanks? i cant fky worth crap now that they changed it. :( I would like to squad up and have a party and actually be able to comm and destroy the other team!!
 I do play wierd hours though because im on second shift usually after 2am and then when i wake up between 10-11 am. The weekends though i usually tear it up.

What is the consensus of the matchmaker tweak they did last week? I haven't noticed that much of a difference, but on their forums, it is as if the sky is falling.

I gotta say, I was about where you are with the game, but decided to give RB a try (and I was never a tank player, so if you were strictly tanks, disregard,) and I have found that skill and sportsmanship are both important there for the most part. Less seal-clubbing, less juvenile behavior, etc. |

Its probably the fact that I didn't really play attention before, but the only big thing I notice is I run into higher tier tanks more often. (Been playing RB since day 1.) Early Tier IV American is and was painful, the only real shot you have is getting on a flank and hitting the Germans and Russians from the side. Germany, with the Tiger II, it to me feels about the same as before. I have ran across a handful of Tier V's, but luckily was on their flank. Air, I really mainly fly bombers and attackers, I have always managed to run in about a third of my matches. |

I think there is no point in playing 6.7 Germany (ground) any more, they have to fight against everything up to the T-10,T54(1951), Leopard, M60 etc. Just got out of a couple of matches where im fighting a T-10 and other 7.7 in my Panther A/f and tiger II p, basically none of my rounds could penetrate. They(Russian tanks ) just sit there in the open absorbing/bouncing shots. |

Wargaming went through that whole "recently discovered old documents" disease too. I've concluded that those documents most likely do exist and do say what these game developers use. You have to remember the historical context that the Russian tank developers wrote those documents. Bad news meant you suffered. Good news meant you didn't. So of course all these documents are glorious for Soviet armor!

So. Am I missing a feature?
Is there a lead/aim indicator in ground forces (like there is for aircraft)? I am having a really hard time beating anyone to the punch in engagements where I spend most of my time trying to find their fucking range (to get a green or fuck, even a yellow, cross hair). This is across the board from a no skilled crew to a crew that is one peg away from being maxed in targeting, range finding, and vision. It's about an 80% chance I will be engaged (and instantly BBQed) before I find it. I initially move up and down across the target's plain and then move into a daisy method if that is unsuccessful. Pretty damn frustrating. |
